Yeah it was a rough battle lol Definitely made some misplays too. Remember I made these teams and started using them without testing them. So of course there will be mistakes as I’m learning how to use the team. Just like learning a new deck lol You’re seeing me learning. Next time will be different!
It's been some time since I've seen a video for this channel. Not a bad outing, I suppose, but I think it would've been a little better if you actually won a single one of these battles, at least.
Yeah I’m trying to get back into it now that I’m in summer vacation! Yes I would have loved to get one win too, but I wanted to show my progress using a new team based on his Hero monsters. So it’s not perfect and the point is to see Judai’s progress as he joins the Pokemon world. Also I almost won the first battles 😭
It's been a year since you live streamed and built teams for GX characters i really enjoy watching you battle and Built team i just wonder when are going to to built another team
Hey Daniel! Sorry I was very busy with college so I had no time for videos. I am on my summer break now so I can work on some videos. I appreciate you showing interest in my videos. Means a lot! I was working on some teams last night with some thumbnails, so I should have a video up either tomorrow or Friday. I will be showcasing Jaden Yuki’s Team in some Ranked Battles. I will be working on Yuma’s team as well. I will try to do a livestreams soon too :)
Hello there. I just found this video series and I'm loving it so far. You practically nailed 5 out of 6 members of Jaden's team. Empoleon as Bubbleman didn't sit well with me. Bubbleman doesn't just use bubbles for his attacks but also jets of high-pressure water. In my opinion, Blastoise would have been better especially it's Mega Evolved form. It's mega evolve form could represent Bubbleman's Neo form thru Metamorphosis and the Bubble Blaster. As for Jaden's other monsters in his deck: Wildheart- Kantonian Marowak Clayman- Claydol Bladedge- Gallade (albeit a Steel/Fighting type variant), a shiny Metagross, or a Kingambit. Winged Kuriboh- some convergent form of Electrode (?), or just Togekiss
Hey! Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry I didn’t see your comment until now. I understand how you feel. Bubbleman was the most challenging to do. Blastoise was one of my first picks, but I didn’t go with him because he doesn’t learn any other bubble moves aside from bubble. In my opinion having bubblebeam is more important than having the jets. Also Empoleon can learn Aqua Jet too. I do like your choice of of the mega being a nod to metamorphosis. Pretty cool honestly. I’m still sticking with Empoleon because I’ve already created to much of his story to change it now. But Blastoise works for sure. Claydol as Clayman is perfect You may have to explain Marowak to me lol I had already chose Bisharp for Bladedege. I kept going back and forth between Bisharp and Gallade. Bisharp was more steel Iike bladedge Winged Kurobih and Togekiss is not bad honestly. May stick with that Again sorry for the late response. If you want to check other GX teams I made, then I have a livestream I did on the channel where I made many other Gx Teams. I will be using some of those very soon on a livestream for this channel in Scarlet and Violet.
@@icemasterglacen7390 Thanks for the reply. As for why I choose Kantonian Marowak as Wildheart because of the move Bonemerang and Marowak's signature held item Thick Club. Both serve as a nod to Wildheart's Cyclone Boomerang. Too bad that equip spell doesn't double his attack points like Thick Club does.
Yes I did that already. I used Palafin as Aqua Dolphin for my Jaden Team in a recent video. You can check it out when you get a chance! There was my Jaden Yuki Vs Yugi Muto Battle video where I showcased it along with other Neo-Spacians
Always a pleasure to have you lol Hmm.. I’m a big Gen 3, 4 and 6 Fan!! Not sure yet which is my number one yet. Glad you liked the battle!! Also, I’m doing my first WiFi battle Livestream tonight on this channel. I will be using Ash’s Team the entire whole stream. Even if you don’t battle come through and hang out 😁
Yeah that will be difficult seeing that here in the netherlands the stream will come pretty late and i am pretty much asleep at that point. But i will check the stream when i can👍🙌
Understandable brother! I appreciated you stopping by to show support ☺️ Make sure to check the 6v 6 battles in the end of the stream! They were so good 😁
Dang. It’s all good man lol You can watch it back on your free time. It was super long and I went through many teams for many of the characters. Lots of content!
A school to learning about pokemon makes more then then how to play yugioh. In this universe pegasus invented the first pokeball instead of the card game. The melenaium items were invented so humans can mind control pokemon
The ice typing on the Weevil line is secondary. And it's mainly because their dark types. Though if you ask me about it I'm going forget out the ice typing.
I think Gallade would be perfect to represent Blade edge because of those blades and with Scarlet and Violet that Gallade have access to the Sharpness ability to power up Slicing moves like Sacred Sword for example
Yeah Gallade would be an amazing pick too! I was going to go with Bisharp because he is also the bald Pokémon and he is wrapped in armor like bladedge. But I could go either way. Haven’t decided yet
Thanks brother! I had fun with this idea 😊 Yes I can definitely do Kanto for sure! Please spread this out to other Pokémon fans if you can. It would help me a lot to grow! I really appreciate all your support Anthony!!
Yeah that was a concern of mine too at first, but Greninja constantly changes Types so it harder to out him. Rotom is only weak to grass because of Levitate. So the team ends up not being all that weak defensively, but not every team will counter every single weakness. It functions really well for me. Thanks for the feedback and support! 😁
Looking back at it I would make few changes: Infernape: Should have the Life Orb Ability with its current moveset. It should use Focus Sash only if you aren't running running Flare Blitz. Greninja: Should have the Focus Sash instead.
Hey, sorry that I missed this earlier! This was a great showcase of Ash's Johto team. I just have PLENTY to say about it, so bear with me here: Pikachu makes perfect sense. It did learn Iron Tail in Pokemon Advanced. Nothing else beyond that. Feraligatr is a good starter choice, but it learns Crunch as an Egg move, which involves breeding with Tyranitar. It'll have to stick with Bite. Hydro Pump is learned at level 58, which is REALLY late, even for postgame. A good alternative in-game would have to be the HM move, Surf. Noctowl is an interesting pick, though Dream Eater is a move that existed since gen 1, and it can't be learnt until postgame, through Level Up or TM. Speaking of which, in the last video, you gave Pidgeot Whirlwind. That move in gen 1 is useless in trainer battles, it only works in wild battles. I just wanted to point that out. Heracross is a great choice, but quite limited in gen 2. It can't learn Double Kick at all, and Megahorn is also a postgame move. Rock Smash and Fury Cutter are okay alternatives. The latter you can use until Megahorn. Donphan...nothing much, really. Moveset looks solid enough. Finally, Muk...Grimer is a postgame encounter, so yeah, tough luck. Body Slam is only learned from a TM in gen 1, so you'd have to trade between games to get that down. Lick is another Egg move you need to breed with Gengar for. Muk can learn other good moves, so there's a few other options. You will need an alternative Pokemon until you can get Grimer. Whew! That was a lot to go through. Hope that helps you. I did this with what I found looking their moves up on Bulbapedia. I quite enjoyed going through this video, though, so it was worth the effort. I look forward to if you decide to do Ash's Hoenn team. It's just six Pokemon, so should be easy to do! Great work overall, man. Happy with what you've done. :)
Wow that’s a lot to take in lol But you are 100% right about all this for sure. Although I pick anime movesets, which also means Learning moves at specific levels is irrelevant in the anime. You can have a LV 10 Totodile that has hydro pump. So when I build these movesets I’m not thinking how practical it is to level up and get certain moves because in the anime that doesn’t really matter. I just make a movesets that I could see them using in the anime. For the most part just assume that each Pokémon would be at LV “100” if that makes any sense 😅 I also didn’t really consider whether or not you could catch these Pokémon early in game or post game… probably should have lol But again this is the anime so those rules don’t necessarily apply. I’m basically just using the games as a database to know what moves are capable for each Pokémon in game just in case someone would try to build this team in the games. But then I just mostly apply anime movesets and logic lol I love the detail and insight though👌🏻 It means a lot to me that you came through and gave this much thought to the video! Keep it up! 😁
Yes it was Pokemon Advanced Pikachu learned iron tail because it was going to be a problem against Roxanne the Rosbiro City gym leader. But it's not an issue putting iron tail for Pikachu here because one the steel type was introduced and two why not.
Yes that’s what I thought lol Thanks for watching Ray! It’s hard to start up a new channel so I appreciate you coming out and giving my Pokémon content a chance ☺️
When you say tutor moves, I think you mean TMs, since there are no move tutors in Gen 1. But yeah, this was pretty neat. I feel it would be fun to try this out on Pokemon Yellow someday. Of course, I would have to take liberties and change some moves around to make it a little easier. So yeah, nice vid, man. A cool concept, wouldn't mind you trying this with Ash's other regional teams. It'll be interesting to see, at least. 🙂
Appreciate you coming out here brother! No I do mean Move Tutors but I just checked and your right, they were just TM’s & HM’s in Gen 1 so that’s my bad lol Either way it’s still possible to make these movesets in Gen 1 😅 Still I’m glad you liked this idea! I will definitely do Johto next. (P.s. you I already recorded the Johto on the same day so I will most likely say Move Tutor again so just ignore it) By the way how good are you at playing Pokémon? You don’t have to be super competitive obviously. But do you know how to battle well? 🤔 The reason I ask is because I want to do battles testing out different anime team on Pokémon Showdown and/or the real games but I don’t have any friends that battle so it’s tough to show off these team in action in a Character Battle.
@@icemasterglacen7390 I do enjoy the games, but I don't do competitive. I usually just play by myself, not with anybody else. Just my preference, really. Right now, though, my games are a blank slate, so I'm afraid I won't be able to help much. 😔 Sorry.
Would be nice to have a starters trio, w/ Avian as Decidueye. Isnt a flying type and dont have the arrow conection as far i remember, but is do damn powerful
Yeah Decidueye is very power and would be really cool! I already fell in love with Shiny Swellow as Avian so I’m going to stick with that. Thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad someone’s interested in seeing this series again ☺️
I will! I just started making videos again today! Go check out the new video I just uploaded! I will make the Chazz Team as soon as I can. That video requires more editing
