Hey, so I got the Hyper as well. Have you noticed the three little verticals leds almost never light up. I was thinking it would be cool if we can program them so when a car is coming up to the left/right the bottom led lights up then as he comes further up the next led lights and when he is along side us completely the third/top led also lights. I’m sure it can be done in Simhub I just can’t figure it out.
If it were possible it would have to be done in Simhub under the LED controls and add an effect. I’m not smart enough to do that but maybe someone on Yoeps discord could program it if it’s possible. I’m guess it would be similar to the LED buttons effect you’d just have to change values.
I tried to figure it out last night without success. I’ll call GSI and see if they can walk me through it. If/when I figure it out I’ll update you. Maybe I can record the steps and post it to you and you can make a real video on it.
I’m trying to get in to the lmp3 but I’m struggling with the braking, I either brake to much and lock up or don’t brake enough and overshoot the turn lol
Nice content! I wish youtube make a triple monitor format support one day for simracing content (why not?) and also make 120hz for all videos at least. It's 2024 already. WTF modern technologies stucked in the ass of progress. 😁
I subscribed and liked 👍 looking forward to seeing more content! But man, the wheel looks heavy and is super expensive, but of course you are getting one for the long term. That is until….. the next hottest wheel comes out 😅 I agree with the screen being on the wheel. Having a separate DDU just loses the immersion and seems too disconnected. Also it’s less clutter on the rig
I would see how different tracks and settings work for you first. Even after upgrading to a 4070ti and moderate settings in iRacing my GPU has low frame rates in the rain.
I like your content. It's pushing me to be more consistent in ACC and Forza Online Racing on a wheel. I am trying to be fast on a wheel and be on a competitive level with great race craft
Thank you I appreciate that. Wishing you the best of luck in all of your races ACC is really fun I haven't driven in Forza in quite some time. I should give it a go.
This is what I was looking for, great content. Yesterday I bought 3 of the same monitors, I will connect them tomorrow. what kind of bazel kit do you use? Greetings from Munich, Germany 👍💪
Thank you for watching the video. I have the Asus Bezel Free Kit and had to have adapters 3D printed for 32” screens. You can find the file on thingyverse.com
if you are running a 3080 or 3090 wait until the 5000 series comes out in real world gaming you just don't get that much more power per dollar given you would pay at least 1300 for a 4090 these days.
Loved the video you’ve put me back on the fence again now between P1 and the Omega Pro (BavarianSimTec Omega Pro Wheel) Speak of did you ever consider that wheel?
Thank you! I did look at the Bavarian wheel and watched a couple videos and landed on the GSI. I’m a sucker for the features the GSI wheel has. I made a follow up video showing how the LED buttons act as flags and the build quality is top notch.
I just setup my triple monitor setup and my issue is now I keep tripping a breaker….never had this issues while playing iRacing till I added 2 additional monitors to have 3 total. I guess just adding 2 more monitors has added an overload? Not sure why….any suggestions? Did adding triples cause you to trip any breakers
That sucks to hear. The only thing I can think of is the surge protector you’re using because I can’t imagine 2 monitors adding that much power. I have a surge protector with a backup battery and had to upgrade my breaker a couple years back because I went solar.
@@steezyisgaming so I have a surge protector and all my power cords are plugged into it, however the cord doesn't reach the outlet, so I plugged the surge protector cord into another power strip (was not plugged into another surge protector, but just a power strip that then plugs into the outlet) Could that be my issues?
Nice setup man! I just started going down the sim rabbit hole as I gave up the motorcycle racing hobby when I had a kid. I've experimented with a few options and, like yourself settled on triple 32's. Still need to get it dialed in but it's pretty amazing. Cheers!
Street. I ran in lightweight 400 with a Yamaha R3. It was really fun but also a money pit with added danger haha, and a big time commitment. At least with a sim in my basement, I can jump on for a few laps whenever I get some free time.
@@hali_moto yeah I could never get into street bikes the danger element is what turned me away and out in California there are tons of moto accidents. Yeah sim racing has a lot of enjoyment for me since I can’t find the time to go to the track and the amount it cost in tires and fuel for me made me go with a sim. I had my fun on the track in my Porsche but I always had the thought of injury or damage in the back of my mind.
@steezyisgaming Yea, the street is insane I was in one accident because of a driver pulling out in front of me, got away from that pretty lucky though. That's what got me to go to the track. A lot of people find it hard to believe but the track is actually a lot safer. One track school led to another, and then I was building a bike and racing haha. Was a great time but that chapter is over and now its time for the sim rig.
