True, the 1.3 duratec is a great engine. The commom problems thermistathousing (replaced myself 100euro), ignitioncoil (replaced mine 55euro) and coolant reservoir (reolaced mine 30euro) Thats all that happens. More is not needed.
salve a tutti devo sostituire le valvole sul mio bv2001 ma non trovo piu le el509 ho visto le 6p45s ma non so la resa cosa mi consigliate le compro o lo butto il mio finale ?????
is there someone here who has a wiring diagram from this bv 131,can t find it on internet only the ones without hi\lo switch...i need the one with hi |lo switch like this one...mine has a burned resistor next to the coil..
Hi How can I get a hold of you to get the firmware upgrade? Thanks! And thank you for posting the video! I am looking to write software to make this connect with an Android phone. :)
Since I commented on this video I found out why the light intermittently goes on and off! In my case it's the JBL subwoofer back in the trunk. The bass is so strong that the backseat will pop out of its latching wich in turn cause the sensor to pup up the light! 🤣
These Rocam Engines are built in Port Elizabeth South Africa. The same engine that goes into the South African produced Ford Bantam , Ikon and the Locally assembled Fiesta.
Poor TV tube designed to dissipate an anode power of 30W maximum !!!!! Use real broadcast tubes not TV tubes !!! You destroy them by using them in these QRM generators that are those filthy amps made in Italy!
I don't like it, when a tube runs that hot. It's not a well designed lineair amplifier for sure. The plastic front melts over time, and the transformer is way to close to the tube.
I have a spare voice board that I removed from my ICOM 746 & I think I will add it to my ICOM 821H because I can & it's paid for. LOL I have that feature in several radios that I own and several others in the past but I have never used it.
It is a good engine, but the Ford Ka radiator is still too small for Africa. I live in South Aftica and it overheats here. But in Europe the Rocam engine will do very good.
Not a good engine, valves can bend so easily which cause misfires and shit, head gaskets tend to go too, timing chains are solid tho, my endura e engine is stronger and much more simpler to work on 👍🏾👍🏾
yeah i wanted one but they discontinued the vx series because they die internally. vx6 vx7 vx8 they all have recievers that go deaf quickly and have to be replaced
This amp had such clean output for me in the early 90's as a kid. I loved it. It was the only amp i ever had that would not give you scratchy audio on SSB when driving it hard. Plenty of contacts from this little beauty powering a silver rod on a 40ft mast in the back of a 90ft garden until the neighbours put pressure on the council to get me to pull it down. The good days. I wish i still had the 2 carrier bags full of QSL cards all sadly lost now. Gutted/
if this twit thinks that the rocam engine is a rare engine then he has got no idea what the hell he on about they were fitted to all ford KA's from 2002 worldwide it was to replace the original Endura-E engine which was originally going to be used in the ford anglia before they started making the cortina and it was shelved till the Ka then it was used as the engine that was going to be in the KA did not work so they used that and updated it with the sensors that modern cars have till they could develop an alternative one the rocam duratec for petrol or the rocam duratox for diesel.
when talking on that you could make a grilled cheese sandwich to snack on. Got RM ITALY with a bunch of EL519 tubes. 240V flickers the lights in my room lots of heat. 900 PEP SSB
