I've not decided if she is SS material yet or not, but she is definitely up high in the list. Ryza is irrelevant for her to work well, she is independent

@@puddingpanda645 all the characters you mentioned are tournament relevant and by virtue of that they are "good" having. Now, if they are useful for something else will depend on what you to play more, what content you are missing, etc. They will all perform great in their respective setups. Ryza is not only a Resna support. She is a strong character paired with any magic attacker, same as Klaudia. Heidi is the most universal of the 4, going well with any physical or magic team but not providing as much as the other 3. Escha is the least universal, only pairing well with physical teams, but having the strongest dmg contribution of all 4.
@@ShalAppelgreen I see that definitely is very helpful! I'm not that dead set on the tournament, but i've been struggling with the dungeons from Passage to the Remnants onwards. I mostly wish to unlock Risk 7 of everything so that i'm able to gather every ingredient for synthesis. Izana and Flocke have been a great help so far!
@@puddingpanda645 None of the mentioned characters are needed for dungeons or regular content. They just make them easier, to the absurdity. Like what you see in my vids, which I make on purpose that way to promote the characters' strengths. But they arent needed in slightest, so just pick whatever fits you most.
I tried using Lilie and Ellie instead as extra buffer, but my gear traits are still work in progress, I guess I can win if I improve the all the traits, it will take a month probably to get there
any recommendations possible if I don't have Flocke and Sophie? the monsters are insane, two squid that counter and one will oneshot , the turtle will taunt for 2 turns so you can't let them attack also because then you will get unbuffable. with just claudia and totori buff my Resna only damage half HP and I can't get the boost panel on time for Resna because she has to do a single attack before the monsters get a turn which is not possible.
if you having troubles with multiple counters at the same time, I'd suggest you using a single target attacker that can hit their affinity weakness, and keep using klaudia and totori. Ideally, add 2 more characters that do not deal damage with skills, like lydie, rorona or any buffer. This way you will not trigger any counters and you can continuously stack klaudia effects over enemies while your single target attacker mows them down 1 by 1. Using AoE attackers is faster and ideal only if you can sweep them in one go, or counters will kill them. Single target is fine too.
Why does Ice Klaudia not make use of Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down like Gyaru Ryza, for example? Is it just that Damage Buff A is better and you don't use her ult a lot, so the 20% increased dmg is not that useful?
pmr down traits only affect magic damage received and physical damage received debuffs. all damage received or elemental resistance debuffs are not included in that

Read the intro. Once you understand it, you will realize characters previously in bottom of SS tier are now in the bottom of S tier or the top of A tier. The relative evaluation hasn't changed much, I just added new tiers. Sophie also doesn't hold that well in modern content, primarily because her skills are disruptive compared to Totori's, and second because the Defender role is not in a great position as a whole.
That feeling when you've been stuck on the new dungeon for hours and hours so you finally suck up your pride and check out Shal's channel to see what kind of team to build to clear it, only to find you have literally ZERO of the party members Shal used. Oof. Still appreciate this video for whoever it helps, but I could spark 4 characters and still not be able to build this team...
AOE atker with supports is easy way for clearing dungeon Learnt it when I was struggling in ch8 dungeon using base Val and Juna, frustraed brought Mu and breeze through it easily

Is "Skill Power Up" part of the damage equation when an attack critical hits? As in: how do you decide between a V/V "Skill Power Up" x2 or a V/V "Skill Power Up" w/ "Critical Damage Up" on an identical item? Any advice is appreciated; TY!
Skill Power traits modify the damage of the base skill in the same way Skill Damage effects do, but they are two different modifiers. This means, with diminishing returns in consideration, it is much much harder to overload a character with Skill Power because this mod only comes from traits, while Skill Damage comes from many effects, battle items, party buffs, auras, and many others, becoming less effective the more sources of it you have. Skill Power doesn't suffer from this. Critical Damage just comes to modify the base damage dealt by the skill after a crit, and the trait version is the same modifier as any party buff, aura or effect, resulting in the same as skill damage: potentially overloading a character with it, reducing its potency. In the end both things are necessary for an optimal output, but a balance of them is required. If your party includes characters like flocke, and many forms of critical damage boosts like Xmas Resna or NY Marie, having only 1x Critical Damage trait will be more than enough. On the other hand, if you dont have many sources, 2x trait and sometimes even 3x traits Critical Damage will be optimal, but I would rarely suggest getting a character below 100% Skill Power (soft cap) which is equivalent to 4x V rank Skill Power traits. With this, one of the most common general setups is 4x Skill Power and 2x Critical Damage traits, but this changes based on the circumstances and team composition.

@@buluID ryza and klaudia are central for this video in particular. it's meant to showcase what they can do together alongside other characters of any magic affinity. the damage shown is nothing special and is not the point of the video, just how they can enable all sort of crazy strategies together with ryza leader skill and klaudia debuffs taking advantage of that leader skill
Gyaru Ryza + Onsen Klaudia = a lot of Damage amp. Gyaru Ryza leader skill gives both Initiative push and makes them go first despite Tower inflicting stat disadvantage. Add Item Gauge memoria, damage dealer, Dark Waters and Crit Panel battle item from Academy Event. Other 2 supporters also give passive buffs despite being killed. Tada, almost universal Debuff team.
Awesome wish i could pull something other than OG banner units haha only 2 of my last 20 SSRs have been something not OG banner available. Really sick of pulling keithgriff and Marie and still somehow don't have Oscar haha neither me or wife has him haha.

uh, this is super old i honestly dont know what i used but it was probably terrible. this is just some days after game release after sophie came out. items should be nothing special, just dmg and stun respectively.
Speaking of keys for old events, are they always going to cost 10K Shiny coins? I think that's too much and also in the current event you can only buy one with the other coins. Will there be events where you can buy more? I don't know if I should spend the 10K because I'll be left with nothing after that and surely more retro events will come out xd.
