Mostly the channel videos are about using knives for bushcraft tasks like carving wood, sticks, making feathers for fire ignition and feathersticks, using birch bark and fatwood. Last videos are about cooking outdoors some basic but tasty food. Very simple recipies for the camping or outdoors.
I am mostly reviewing Mora / Morakniv knives, but also Opinel and Victorinox are my favourite knives, because I value practical approach of their producers.

Hard to tell which I like better. Victorinox Venture for food prep and Morakniv Kansbol for wood work? Kansbol is probably more usefull and Venture just looks better.
For you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-19U-Dm-q9bg.html the newest video has a lot of verbal description of what is going on in the video. I am listening to the feedback and the videos are getting better. Thumbs up :)
Very very little flex. I would say more or less like by the aluminum or other materials. Flex is not an issue here. Completely different than like the grivory. At least by this one. I had to use two hands to flex it. If you push really hard, it flexes just a little bit = almost not visible. If you are strong guy, you can flex like this also a steel handle :)
Yeah. You're right. Sometimes I do dumb things to find out how it works out. The non-functional blade choke was irritating for me after some while of Shaman usage. A blade should be used to cut. I have enough of handle space to hold a knife, not the blade - that is a waste of resources. Now it is just an ugly peace of sharp metal tool I use to cut things. No more a piece of art and beauty but more like a hammer - a tool without emotions towards it. A kitchen knife is prettier than this modified knife :D One centimeter of more cutting edge was not worth of the knife's looks. I have to wait for the Spyderco Bodacious to get both the looks and functionality.
I don't really get it... Why do you buy a knife that you don't like in the first place? I mean, it's pretty obvious how long (or short) the edge is... Anyway, what I wanted to say: I guess you have also burnt the steel, don't you think? I mean, you probably destroyed the heat treatment by not cooling the blade at all while grinding.
You are right. I should not buy it in the first place. I did not know, that I will not like this choke style and only after some time and use I found out that I do not like the unused edge.
I do not know. I am not a steel guy, but more like a knife handle guy. A knife is just a tool to me. Ideal would be handle of a hammer :) where I do not care about the steel of the hammer. When it will be dull, I will sharpen it. Just like any other knife.
Hi, I threw the box away, as I do not keep the paper boxes. I keep my knives, which I do not currently use in a big solid plastic box. The one I use I keep on my table or magnetically attached to a wall in my workshop for easier access.
What I like about the companion is it's sheath. I wear sweat pants most of the time and it can clip on it, no problem. With the kansbol you have to have a belt. Also if you need the extra toughness of the kansbol, go with the companion heavy duty
