Thank you for this mix! Listening brought happy stinging tears to the back of my eyes as the first song hit me. Listening wipes away 20 years of meh career, mom-daughter problems, ex problems, and brought me back to my knees. I thank my Mom in the sky above that had a love of Motown while others were screaming over the beatles, and I grew up with the constant need of soul music grooving in my veins grrrl! Thank god for my friends who'd take me to their underground dance clubs, thank the people for accepting me or tolerating me in their space. For me there was no other music.
