About Me : I'm Bianca ! Wife & mother of 2 handsome boys. During the pandemic , God called me to begin hand crafting junk journals within my closet. I utilized what little I had accumulated from thrift shopping prior to the lockdown. As my family & friends began grieving the loss of loved ones , I got to crafting & gifted them my handmade journals . I wanted them to have a outlet where they could express themselves. Hi Sobrina! Your thread spools dangles are so cute! Great idea on recycling empty thread spools. I don't have any empty thread spools but i do have small and tiny wooden spools that I bought from Aliexpress to make a garland but never did. I should use them and make dangles. Hi Sweet Sobrina! Wow! So many colors of pretty velvet ribbons, beads, and wire. I'll have to check this store out. Tyfs Those are aluminum wires, right? Aluminum wire is great for crafting and for beginners. You may want to get a wire straightener with a nylon tip. You'll need it incase you don't like how it turns out. You can straighten the wire to reuse without scratching the color or marring the wire. It's a lot of fun, once you get the hang of it. I can't wait to see what you make. Hugs 💗 Blessings 😊

I love your list - good for you to get this written down. I'm sure it helps with motivation. It's great you were able to volunteer and have family over for meals. I used to do that a lot and I've gotten away from it. I need to do it again - thanks for the reminder! Not all estate sales are like that; but I agree that it's hard to go into homes and know that people lived there and to see their stuff. We have some places around here where the items are brought to a general location and you shop at the location, not the house. That feels like thrift shopping to me. I also try to change the narrative in my head and just know that whatever I purchase it's one less thing in the garbage.

I'm so glad you are trying recipes and enjoying them with your mom and MIL (sounds like another junk journal in the works). I volunteered at my boys' schools and did more at other places; a great way to give back to the community - good for you. Love this a"24 things to try in 2024". Estate sales can be hard. I’ve been to a ton of estate sales and they are not all like the one you went to. Some sales don’t have the personal care items like you shared in the video. One thing to remember not all sales are based on people passing away. They could be moving to an assistant living center. I usually can tell as soon as I enter the house if it’s the sale for me. If there is a strong odor I leave, and if the home is dirty I leave. My suggestion is if you really feel uncomfortable, just leave.
