Hello, My name is Michelle. I'm a proud mom of two amazing adult children. Im so blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart. He is my rock and number one fan! I love being a DIY'er and being able to create art work that tells a story and that people can really connect too. I have been crafting pretty much my whole life. But, it wasn't until I started my RU-vid channel that I really started to tap into my creativity. I really enjoy being able to share and hopefully inspire others out there to find their creativity as well. I love to go thrifting! It is so much fun to give new life to an item that has been forgotten. Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm so grateful for your visit. I hope you enjoy my channel and may it inspire you. Hugs! Michelle
I'm not a professional. I just enjoy doing DIYs and sharing!
Oh Michelle! Somehow I lost all the channels I subscribe to. I’ve been adding artists back as I find them. For some reason it has taken me a while to find your channels. I love your shirts. I’m losing my vision and the contrast allows me to see the whole shirt. The table top decor is great. I love the geometric style you used. It pulls in the ancient Japanese style together with a more modern civilization. It definitely has the look of a fusion of styles.
Hi! On a couple of shirts I did forget to insert the cardboard, thankfully I didn't have any issues with the bleach going through to the other side. I think the cardboard is a nice safety measure though. ☺
Have you thought of or tried reverse bleaching? Soak the wood pieces only in the bleach and then put them on the shirt. I haven't tried it but it's a thought.
I love the standing white and black standing skull - beautiful job on that. And even tho I've never liked sugar skulls, you did an awesome job on that one as well!
Enjoyed your projects. My decor would be considered "dark, Victorian, vintage" all year long so I like the extra bright, colorful blatantly Halloweeny ideas this time of year. Thanks!
Where did u get the little tombstones from I looked in the description box and I’m sure it’s there but didn’t see it sorry! But would love to find some for my projects to
YAYYYYYY……. I have been haunting RU-vid waiting for your annual Spooky Halloween Decor video. Of course you didn’t disappoint Everything looks great and shows your originality and attention to detail. Thank you for not disappointing 🫀
I know you have to let the tee shirts dry after you make them but when you wash them do they hold up okay or does the pattern run because of all the sprayed bleach??
@@michellescozyhome6290 Thanks for responding so quickly! Your ideas are so great. You are a crafters dream… so many crafts that can easily be done. Thank you for sharing !
Hi! Such a great question. I did a search for alternative to bleach. I found a few options. One website talked about hydrogen peroxide. The context for this was keeping your white laundry items white. I personally have not tried to use hydrogen peroxide for this type of shirt project. But, I am curious and may try it in the future.
I tried the shirts this year. I did like 1/4 water with 3/4 bleach. I tried with some shirts I had at home and now I want to make more shirts so family can match.
Hi! So great to see you. I hope you and your family are doing well. Can't believe the holidays are just around the corner. I really enjoyed making my own shirts. So much fun. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it so much. ❤🥰
@@michellescozyhome6290 ha ha not sure about it either, this has happened a few times maybe it’s if I rewind? Anyway it was this little monster on the outside of cauldron woodcutout, you said you got some wood 🪵 items on Etsy. I’ll shop around. I love your work.
I like the cauldron with the characters around the base of it. I feel like if I use that shredded material to just be all around my house but it does work I’m not sure what another option would be maybe just rumpled up black tulle or tablecloth from dollar tree; with a light 🕯️ battery operated underneath it in the center of the cauldron..spiderwebs?
☠️ 22:60 I like those little candles you put down the front of the black skull sign 🪧 wondering where you found those ? You probably made them yeah, very inspired. Made me think of a little cemetery around it put little mini figures.
Where have I been?? Finally found your video and you are a true artist! So many great tips and NO ads so far!!! Just half way through and excited to view the rest of your projects. Thank you and I’ll be a new subscriber. You bring everything to life when describing through your videos.
10:24 if you use a wood round for the top and attach your elements to that you can use the cauldron project as a gift box for a Halloween birthday. Just use Velcro to keep it on, or you can add tape to make sure it stays secure. Then the recipient can use it as decor year after year!
