I really would recommend you switch to mapbase, IF this is not a half-life 2 deathmatch mod. Mapbase is pretty much makes maps alot better and you can make alot more stuff, and it adds new mechanics to the NPC's like the ability to kick for rebels, And the rebels using the grenade launcher on the SMG and a NPC support for every weapon in the game like the revolver. (and it works for hammer++)

May I ask what the assignment that inspired this was? You said its for school, right?

I might make some maps for it, does it run on Source SDK Base 2013?
