THANK YOU!!! YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THE BEST INFO SO FAR ABOUT LEARNING A FRONT WALK OVER AND CONDITIONING FOR KICK OVER THAN ANYONE ELSE I HAVE FOUND!!!❤❤❤
@adiTwirls -- I don't know if you have a lot of 46 year old Masculine Men watching your channel -- but THIS ONE can't get enough. After my wife passed in 2023, I spent a lot of time walking on the beaches where I live. I had always walked with a "walking stick" --- so about a year ago -- I started twirling that stick every time I went for a walk. Well, 8 months later and I can twirl and maneuver this walking stick like a professional baton twirler. However, after watching many of your videos -- I have already noticed my "bad-habbits". If you had to suggest to someone like myself -- a place to start to pick up some of the cooler moves and tosses -- Where should I begin? I do not plan on making this a profession, however - I want to learn proper technique to improve at a much better rate. B/C I twirl about 2-3 hrs (5 days a week) I am pretty sure I can pick up your instructions fairly quick. I just need some "Professional" direction...so I can give myself the best chance at getting better. Thank you so much --- This Hobby has become MONUMENTAL in my life... So I want to thank people like yourself, for taking the time to share what you know... So awesome.
This is awesome! As I mentioned on another video I am from Germany where baton twirling is not common. I am also in my fifties and started recently. This is a wonderful practice plan for me especially because you show proper form and all the details. E. g. my backhand flips were totally wrong because I moved my shoulder way too much. Thank you!
... thank you so much - this is exactly what I needed. I am from Germany and over here twirling is not common. Your tutorials already helped me to get some basic moves right (and I love drilling), so especially this flips tutorials is gold to work on my control. I already saw that my "technique" in trying the elbow flip was totally wrong. No wonder it went straight to the floor every time. Cannot wait to try later. Thank you!! (And a personal feedback re. the background music:I do have problems following your videos and sometimes need to skip or take breaks because of the type and loudness of the music. I avoid videos with background music whenever possible because it makes it very hard to follow for me and hurts my brain. I do know, that a lot of people are not bothered by it.)
Ma'am perchance are you an orthopedist or an assistant in your out of RU-vid personal life. Sorry my eagerness to ask a question got the best of me, apologies. Is that the manner of speech resemble closely the same mannerisms and quirks as you exhibited. So forgive me dear, my curiosity got the best of me. You don't need to feel obliged to contact me in any way respond at your convenience. Also I am kind of embarrassed because I do not know if I should by a baton or a makeshift wooden dowel to practice with because I lack depth perception and I am not the most coordinated human ever.
I just found your channel and your literally amazing!! And you’re absolutely beautiful! I’ve been twirling for 8 years and always love seeing older girls twirl (high school/college age)! I would love to meet you and have a lesson but I have no idea if that’s possible😕 anyway, sorry if this was a lot😅 I am just in awe with the way you twirl and hope to be like you someday!🫶🏻
When I first started twirling, I waxed my baton!!! I had totally forgotten about that and haven't heard anyone mention that in ages. Thank you so much for your comment!
Hola soy de Bolivia me gustaría aprender una rutina para mejorar el dominio del twirling baton por favor y como se puede lanzar y girar al mismo tiempo 😢
Hi! I use Wilson Ultra Wrap or the Star Line tape! This is just a pink version! :) I have a whole video with all of the details on my baton's tape up on my channel!
@@Brookieee1 I am away teaching camp in Ohio, Nebraska, Texas, and Florida for the next month with Karrissa Wimberley! If you are nearby, you should join us for PlayBaton!
I am a man, I dance tango (it is much slower and is danced in pairs), I wish I could move with that flexibility and grace with which you do it. Excellent performance! It is also very nice that the message you are giving can be heard in the background, especially at the end, it is very emotional. Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina, Subscribed!
Hey their! I was wondering what tape you use on your baton! My tape keeps peeling off and any time I do my neck rolls it pulls on my hair and it’s a whole hassle!
@@Aspen_2 With pleasure ! On this very channel there is a video, "How I tape my batons", that show us this, but there that tape appears to be a regular duct tape.
@@AdiTwirls mole skin, that’s what I had to put on when I went out on the field (bc it was raining) it really soaked in the water but now I don’t need it for regular inside comps.
