I didn't quit cards because it was expensive, I quit because it stopped being fun. These were 2 decent boxes and a monster, but it's no fun even when you are getting value.
Do all the retros have that scuff mark at the bottom? Looks like some kind of roller mark on most of them and even the Bedard, hopefully its just a smudge.
Nothing terribly exciting, I know, but you pulled around $438 worth of resellable product, coming in around at around 55% of the price you paid for the 2 boxes. Not great, but not below average, either. For the record, rookie markup is a complete scam. I won't take this business seriously until they can get these cards to market at a consistent retail price year over year, regardless of whose rookie season it is.
The Price is stupid high for this year, and dont get me started on the checklist, it is a JOKE. There is a players missing then players that should have been cut from every product 5 months ago.
Problem is you've got group breaking now even on Platinum... which is not a group break product. Just drives prices up more. Pretty terrible value on your average box.
this years plat is super mid. inserts were very meh. the autos also being heavy rookie just turns me away. plus sticker autos?!? wtf the whole point of on card. just buy parkhurst at this point.
