That's correct! The SoundBomb Mini needs 5A to function which the 1250GSA can output! The SoundBomb Harness is required on any application that cannot output this power.
that position is the worst place for the horn....i installed there double nut and serrated wasger with red lock tight ....horn fell off 2 times lost first found second ...i moved to the split horn ...so much better mounting
Just a heads up, the mount I used in this video has been discontinued and is no longer available. Moving forward, most (if not all) of the LC 1200/1250 GS and GSA's are going to use SKU: HMT.07.11001 for the Split Horn instead. This adds compatibility even for low-suspension models. denalielectronics.com/products/horn-mount-bmw-r1250-gs-gs-adventure-20-22?_pos=1&_sid=401875b8b&_ss=r
from DENALI direct. Keep in mind it's been discontinued and isn't available anymore. Moving forward, most (if not all) of the LC 1200/1250 GS and GSA's are going to use SKU: HMT.07.11001 for the Split Horn instead. This adds compatibility even for low-suspension models.

Honestly - not sure. It's been discontinued and is no longer available from DENALI. I'll pin a comment with details, but the successor mount is only compatible with the Split version of the SoundBomb in favor of increased compatibility for low-suspension models.
Make sure the hex bolt head isn't resting on the "nub" for lack of better word on the inside of the bolt guide channel. It's the perfect length as there's just enough thread exposed past the nylock nut provided. If the head isn't fully seated I could see this happening. Also make sure you have the horn mount in the correct orientation.
There's a new mount out now that's only compatible with the SoundBomb Split. You'll want that one instead. Denali has a bike finder, just put in your YMM and you'll see it.
Is it a bad idea to install it with the cover on the diaphragm? I'm installing on a mini bike, and it fits perfect if I remove that cover, but I don't know the consequences of doing that
Sounds awesome! Honestly I wouldn't recommend removing the cover. It protects the diaphragm from debris and would most likely reduce the longevity of the unit. Also make sure the compressor is within 25 degrees of vertical when mounted. You may want to consider swapping the Compact Horn for the Split so the trumpet and the compressor are separate. It may open up install options for you.
That's a great decision! The roads are OK in most parts. Depending on when and where you go there may be frost heaves to watch out for. I would also watch your speed as a lot of the turn offs can have the minivans full of people looking at the scenery. Gravel is fairly common as well on the shoulders. Have fun!
Excellent! There is so much to do and see in NH. It would definitely take a long time to find them all. I'm just glad to share what I was fortunate enough to find. :)
