i love your humor dude, you can legitimately make this a parttime job (and if you want to a fulltime) you have real potential considering humor, editing, passion, etc. please come back🙏🙏
Now, Wuthering Waves studio... Kuro Games are like CD Projekt Red in current situation because WuWa is unfinished and horrible optimization. This game should delayed before it's launch worldwide. Modern gaming even f2p is dead 💀
Cyberpunk is amazing now. The DLC I put up there next to Blood and Wine and Shivering Isles. Of course that doesn't excuse the release (Same with No Man's Sky). It doesn't mean it was worth buying then. It's worth buying NOW, you know, AFTER it was fixed and finished. You certainly shouldn't buy broken unfinished games in the hope they'll be better later. You wait until they ARE better before buying them.
Not gonna lie I saw your notification in my inbox and had no idea who this was, but hell yeah dude. That's totally cool you want to keep doing this as a hobby, if you put out one video a month you'd be on top in no time.
#7 is literally me... I still have a 6 hour God of War game I'm never going back to. And Last of Us 2 was low tier mid... I feel like games are designed to either milk us for money, or bore us to death so we work overtime instead of gaming... Either way, games aren't designed for the customers, anymore.
This video is a masterpiece. O stopped buying consoles 11 years ago and the only game that I've played in the past year and a half was Street Fighter 6. I used to buy a game a month. Now I buy a game every 18 months.
i remember when the battle passes were presented as a more ethical alternative to loot boxes... it seems like people never learn that companies will juice any type of monetization they put on the table, when the battle passes dies, the alternative would be praised at the start, until the companies figure out a form to exploit that monetization system
Holy shit this channel is a goldmine, just chill and take your time. You're pretty much set as you got everyone to like your personality in the first video. There's nothing wrong with releasing videos every year because you have a life.
Who ever said "It's over?" This is reality, and in reality, there is no such thing as "over." As long as the world is still living on moving along, and we the people are continuing to play games, there's no such thing as "over," there's only the future, and the future can become both better and worse, always flip-flopping between the two. The only time it would ever be "over" is when you die and can basically do nothing anymore. I respect the opinions told in this video, but don't let the bad things in the gaming industry hold you back from enjoying what is good, just don't ever say that it's "over."
Thank you, I'm following up this video soon with some stuff I left out, sneak previews on the next video, and a q&a on Saturday. Going live at 2pm pst. Set a reminder!
Finally someone points out how a lot of indie games are. We have the best technology ever for making games and models and indie devs sit around making color-blocked low poly PS1-esque games. I don't get the nostalgia of those honestly, I get looking at old games and feeling inspired by the ideas behind them but I've never went "boy howdy I miss having terrible graphics where a face was 4 different flesh tones placed in a matter that kind of looks like a face if I'm really drunk and my astigmatism is kicking in". When I say I want a game inspired by Blue Stinger, Deep Fear, Galerians, Parasite Eve, Carrier, or Martian Gothic I don't want the graphics to match the source material.
Rant about interacting with game support, because i'm done talking to those people treating me as if i'm their employee whever i just want to report a bug.
Gaming isn't dead, its just saturated. What will be interesting to see is how will it get back to what it used to be and who will make that revolutionary change coz those will be the big players of the industry in the future and it certainly won't be any AAA developer fosho.
