Recordings of the Bands and Choirs directed by Mr. David Grayson. Enjoy the hard work, passion, and pride of the students who performed on these great pieces of music.
Hello, how are you? Greetings from Mexico, it is an excellent arrangement. Could you share it with us or sell it? We are a marching band from Tlaxcala.
Nice! Not sure how your school does it, but for marching snare you’d typically want to use a wider grip with your knuckles facing up (german grip). What you’re doing right now looks more like an uneven french grip. I think that’ll help make your line look and sound better. Good stuff though my man!
This is a high school? Wow! I'll be performing this in a couple days at a much higher bpm! In middle school! I think we sound great!! Hope we do well at our concert!
This is a middle school age band (7th and 8th grade)...a junior high school. This was an encore the students learned in just a couple of rehearsals in addition to their full list of pieces they performed. Best of luck on your performance.
@@DavidGrayson just came across this comment again... i'm not really used to calling middle school 'junior high', but i looked up the definition.. it means middle school... 🙃
constructive critisism for the tenor player that may or may not be helpful, lower the drums a bit and make sure youre holding your sticks with your palms down and the back of your hand facing up. I would suggest looking up just grip technique and making sure youre in your playing zones. I marched my senior year with tenors and thats basically mainly what i learned from my instructor and alumni friend
