Xi'an looks so cool! Loved the city walk and the Bell Tower visit. Looking forward to see the Terracotta Warriors, night markets, and your hike up Mount Hua in the upcoming videos. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
Great video! You captured the realness of the trail and camping in wet weather well. I have the Befeee as well(though use it in a gravity feed form). I find the filter needs to soak for a long while before it gets good flow. Next time I'm going to pre soak at home before packing it to see if it helps on the first day out camping. I also have the trekology pillow. I pack it inside the footbix of my sleeping bag and use the stuff sack it came in for home storage.
18:23 this part actually way more important from historical prospective. those rocks had been considered as cultural relic by ancient emperors when other stuffs just their daily use luxury accessories.
Saw your video for the first time. I like the simple style with emphasis on the scenery. Your home is in Beijing and you speak good English. Cannot say that for many Chinese. Maybe you have spend a lot of time in the US. Come to India and vlog you will get a lot of followers. In the meantime good luck, keep going!

Taiwanese please stop spreading rumors. Do not destroy the harmony of the travel channel with dirty political purposes. Slandering the mainland will not make Taiwan better!
Man... the great wall seems like an intense experience not only because of the slope, but those crowds likely making everything much more agonizing. Good on you guys for battling thru it, not sure I'd wanna deal with that many people... I wonder if there's a calmer time of the year to go (probably not I'm guessing).
@@TheMetalPigeon there are many different sections of the great wall that is open to tourists, we chose one of the most famous sections in Beijing, so it was extremely crowded. There are a few other sections that has way less people, so I would probably recommend those ones, tbh i think the view would be more or less similar😂
It's amazing that you got to visit the Great Wall of China, a truly historical iconic monument. It's in my bucket list, and your vlog has definitely inspired me to go. Like and support from Bangalore
Hello there! I´ve recently discovered your channel and I must say, that your work is great. I find your videos entertaining, enlightening and funny, also for some reason, they are very very relaxing. Keep it up! :)
It looks like you had a fun trip despite miserable weather, hopefully you learned a lot from it. I've watched the conclusion to this already, its a shame you didn't get a clear day 2 because the view from about halfway up to the top of the crack is one of the best in Ontario. My wife and I have completed the entire La Cloche Silhouette twice now, I would say a solo 5 day plan might have been a little over ambitious. You seem like a really nice guy, and it would be great to see you complete it too someday if that's a goal, but I would recommend maybe a few more shorter outings like this one to gain some more experience, and build some confidence, because it's really more of a mental challenge than a physical one. We've run across hikers in their teens, to retiree's on our trips around the loop so its not just something for elite athletes. While it is difficult, the rewards and feeling of accomplishment make it worth it. The Crack trail and the climb up is a very good taste of what at least 2/3 of the trail is like, with the rock scramble near the top as difficult as it gets on the trail on a technical level. Never be afraid to challenge yourself, you'll be glad you did.
Thank you for the encouragement! It is definitely a challenging task. very Impressive you and your wife can do it twice. I am looking to complete it someday in the future for sure.
i used to backcountry camp with friends, now that we're all older its harder to do so i started car camping myself, and plan on back country camping myself. The big fear is being alone in bear country at a remote camp site. How did you get over this? what precautions did you take aside bring bear spray?
Thats a great question, ngl sometimes i get scared as well. Like in this video I was feeling uneasy at times. The area i live in only has black bears which is a lot better than grizzly bears, so that gives me a peace of mind. Also, i always try to carry my bear spray, satellite phone and a bushcraft knife with me at all times. Hope that helps.
