The RMRCChannel was created back in June 2023 by myself but it’s only recently I have started to add content to the channel. What do I do? Well I have been flying model aircraft for over 40 years and the last three years I have been concentrating mainly on RC Helicopters (hence the channel name) but I still fly aircraft, EDF, Scale and sport, but Scale Helicopters are what I really enjoy. This RU-vid channel I created to show Tubers what it is I do, more a vlog of my antics as an RC modeller. Follow me too watch, quick reviews on model, full reviews, full build logs and flying vids, see how I repair and refurb models, plus visits to other clubs and flyins as well as event coverage. I understand it will not be everyone’s rodeo however bare with me and as time goes on hopefully interesting things will happen. Thank you to all who choose to subscribe and like my content and who support what I do, it is really appreciated 🤘🤘
I FEEL YOUR PAIN,YEARS AGO WHEN THE BLADE 400 WAS POPULAR,I HAD THE SAME SCENARIO THE CURE WAS 9T MOTOR PINION 3000KV AND MORE PITCH AND WORK WITH THROTLE CURVE, FOR FUSELAGE YOU DONT DO - 5 ON THE LOWER PITCH WILL RAMP THE MECHANIC AND CREATE ROSONANCE LIKE YOU READY FOR 3D...
Could you post your Microbeast settings? Cyclic & tail gains, parameter config, throttle curve, parameter settings etc - I'm struggling to get mine locked in like yours, it just feels squirrely
I have a HK Harrier that I plan to use two 64mm edf lift fans. A single 70mm fan for forward flight. The lift fans can vector thrust left to right. For up, down, and level hover the fans power are controlled by the flight controller. A similar Harrier had a single vectoring 90mm edf that rotated 90 degrees.
Build a foam fuselage for weight reduction and make the two main lift fans 6S power by a lightweight drone lipo. I have a HK Harrier on two 2200mah 4S with four 50mm ( one fan for each nozzle) 12 blade edf fans and it will jump off the ground. Currently I am trying to find a working flight controller. I have a few KK2 boards but I can't get my RX to sync with them. I keep getting a no throttle signal of the KK2 boards.
I thought about doing something similar. I have a few of the old HK Harriers. One has four 50mm edf fans, left banks and right bank with each bank on a servo. The other harrier will have two lift fans and a fan for forward flight. Good luck with your project.
I have not seen any discussion about the gyro head rate and which gyro it is. Blades can be well balanced and physicals all good, however the gyro itself might induce wobble if head rate is too high. Here looks like -5% on head rate might do the trick. Note changing head speed can "hide/resolve" the issue as swash plate révolutions at different speed.
Why does everyone insist on giving there money to China? Goosky Stole OMP hobbies design. Literally made out like bandits. And now everybody is gonna abandon Omphobby. Sorry about the grammar.I did talk to text, I'm p*****Can't get though to any knuckleheads out there
Goosky was formed from people that left OMP to develope they’re own helicopters and can tell you now have both the RS7 and OMP M7 at our club and both look completely different so your theory is completely wrong
So your 230 is slightly lighter than the 500? I don't know of the only 2 rc heli pilots I knew over 15 yrs ago are still flying orbif they're alive that can help me with mine if decide to get it ready for flight?
Gonna be following your progress from the USA.... maybe I will fly mine someday.... heli are hard as hell to fly... I was pretty good at airplanes but very little hovering tome with electric helis... had a small electric heli once but it got where couldn't buy the fiber glass blades any longer even had a airwolf kit but never put it on it...
Enjoyed the video. Yes, the Airwolf is a sweet scale choice. My Align Nitro Pro 50 has been sitting in my closet for years... never flown or fueled up.... I may have to get the ol girl out and girl her a try someday soon.... just gotta figure out how to set up the JR heli radio?
@@TheRMRCchannel gotta new Hitec Aurora 9x but don't know how to program it.... I used to know how to program Futaba radios years ago but forgot it all
Enjoyed the video... makes me want to get my Align Nitro Pro 50 out of the closet and get it's final radio set up and fly..... I have never fueled it or flown it.... fully loaded but just never set the radio up... thinking about selling it? I have never heard of your radio brand? I have JR modded 2.4ghz Cheers from the USA 🍻
Good build video, but I recommend any metal part that is threaded and the screw that goes into it need to be cleaned with alcohol to remove any oils from their surface that was left behind by the machining process. This oil can prevent your thread lock from functioning properly. I use a proxy brush that you use to clean between your teeth and rubbing alcohol.
@@TheRMRCchannel Sorry, I skipped over your intro and missed that comment. I wasn’t questioning as much as wondering if there is a 3 blade head out there.
Nice vid, thinking of upgrading my trex 500 to 4 blade fbl after ten years in the garage... Do you need to dial down or up the head speed to take in to account two more blades?
Hi, thanks for your videos and well-detailed explanation that I'm falling in love with scale helis. Where to acquire one Bell 230 in scale to fit one T-REX 700E with all mechanics exactly like yours? I've noticed some scale kits with panel lines, rivets, opening doors and so on. I've sought out some scale kit dealers, but I've not succeeded yet. Likewise, I'll start a project like yours with tips and tricks that you point to the best way to accomplish.
Thank you. Roban and Vario are probably the best dealers of scale helicopters and both do the Bell 230 range, but Vario is probably the best for a 700 size fuselage for Trex 700 mechanics
