Thanks for the nice video! The bus doesn't actually stop in Uddevalla, but in Torp which is a big shopping center outside Uddevalla. There you can change to local buses.
Been there on may and september 2017. from Sofia and back. The only negative thing is the station is pretty far away from centre, but there was a bus shuttle back on the day between Halkali and Sirkeci, old station. Border procedure is very long, no sleeping but overall service was good. Will take it again, it is quite interesting
@@regliaa Thanks for your comment. One day I would like to do this trip from/to Sofia. Luckily the Marmaray trains to or from Halkali are frequent and efficient

For me that train (Renfe class 104) is one of the best trains in Spain, it is VERY comfortable for just a medium distance train (AVANT trains are considered medium distance high speed, so it is expected that they are less comfortable than AVE trains, but they are awesome anyway) 👍🏻
@@jamescc2010 It looks like there is again a bus replacement between Tirano and Colico due to train line upgrade until the 8th of September 2024 There is a very good app called Trenit where you can check all train connections in Italy. I took this trip over 2 years ago.
There is a random security check and I was the lucky one 😁 to get checked. At 01:36 you can see a guy opening the door before inviting me to the check room.

To buy a ticket and have good selection on departure and return times, you'll need to purchase tickets 3 days in advance. Same day purchase options are very poor. This is late May 2024. Also, I found the ticket kiosks not useful as the ones I tried would not accept credit cards. Instead go to the RENFE ticket office in the botanic garden in the old terminal.
You are absolutely right. I bought my ticket I think a day before the travel in the RENFE app and some of the services to Toledo were already sold out. Also a seat choice was poor for my trains.
I am taking this route tomorrow (in the opposite direction). I take this route often, but I have used Vy Bus4You every time. This time, Flixbus fit my schedule better, so I'm trying it out. Now I know what to expect. Thanks! And it also made me find your channel. Subbed!
It would have been a better video if there had been subtitles to say which towns you were passing through during it - it wasn't even clear which country we were looking at!
@@nasirworld4090 There is normally no border control between European Union Schengen area countries and if there is a random check and if you haven't got anything illegal in your luggage you will be fine.
