This is when Donaire started getting really lazy as a fighter imo, he no longer had a day to day trainer, Robert Garcia only worked his corner, Donaire pretty much trained himself. His body looked soft, and noticed this is when he started throwing one punch at a time, no more short and fast combos. He shoulda easily KO'd Vasquez in the 3rd, he was out on his feet with half of the round to go. And Donaire was launching off balance left haymakers from a lefty stance and ended up being a ho-hum decision win. Even his face was more busted up that Vasquez because he ate so many right hands from Vasquez
I watched Mathyse fight against Zab Judah and he was holding the head and punching with the other hand constantly. He's doing the same mess here. This ref is at least saying something about it. The other ref was letting it slide.
