On this channel I'll be talking about what I'm doing, what im learning, what I'm thinking, what I've done, and every now and then going on random rants.
You ever consider joining the military? You're still young and have so much potential. 4yrs of service can set you up pretty comfortably for the rest of your life! Speaking from experience. Think you referenced getting your mom a house in one of your previous videos... that VA loan can help you do just that. Idk man, just throwing it out there as it seems like you work really hard!
I completely relate to this. Even if you're not focused on RU-vid, avoiding distractions and staying committed to your goals is essential in any career or business. Regarding the "company man" concept, there's definitely a balance to be struck. On one hand, being honest and hardworking can lead to significant opportunities for advancement. I started at $55k a year in my current field five years ago. By putting in the effort, I gained the respect of former colleagues, who later reached out with better opportunities. Now, I’m making $110k a year for essentially the same role, just with a different company. The experienced professionals ("old heads") will often lend a hand if they see you’re putting in the work. Of course, there will always be those who try to take advantage, so it's important to stay vigilant.
You are completely on top of all this my friend. I too am choosing a different oath in life. I can no longer even look for a new 9 to 5 because there is no long term positive in that.
Well if you find the right company there definitely is long term positivity but most of us don’t including me lol. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment it means a lot
Sometimes it's hard to leave your comfort zone, but when you're able to leave it at least a little bit you sometimes get the opportunity to see what you are really capable of accomplishing.
I agree, what I mean is work a lot and use the money to build another stream of income so you can slowly start to decrease the amount of hours you have to work. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment
I’m From Denmark and you don’t have to work that much….. a normal work week here is around 35-40 hours, and you can live a really good life on that….. I get sad everytime I see videos like this from americans…… You guys system is simply not good enough
I will never work 80 hours a week or else my other option is jail. I am just too lazy and think there are better ways to go about money in life. Hats off to you though.
First, I respect what you are doing. You are not sitting around hoping for something to happen, you are using your own two hands to make it happen. However, keep in mind your body can only do this for so long until it breaks down. I used to be a brick mason tender. Hauling bricks and mud all day, will make you rethink the whole thing.
Everybody wants the outcomes and nobody wants the process. I'm a Wealth Manager and I have worked with some of the most successful people on the planet. Everybody wants to be a millionaire/entrepreneur but very few have the discipline. Most successful entrepreneurs are college educated AND spend a significant amount of time working for someone else before starting their own business. Very, very few entrepreneurs become millionaires in their 20's or 30's. They are lucky to make it in their 40's . They often have several failed ventures and have filed for bankruptcy - sometimes several times. I have my own business, but you can become a millionaire working for someone else if you're in the right profession and connected to the right folks. It's great that you have the ambition - but ditch social media. Often these people are lying to you and make their money selling courses to gullible people looking for a shortcut. Anyone who tells you anything other than wealth is built through hard work, consistency, time, and discipline is lying to you.
Would you have any tips for an high school rising senior who will be going to college who cant get the hours he wants at his current job due to over hiring?
Your young I suggest trying to start your own business. Content based business, product based business, or a service based business and stick with it until you hit 10k per month. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your commenting Fr!
It's okay to make the choice to work this hard, but the reality is, there are many people for whom this is not a choice. This is the life that chose them, and yes, the economy and politics play a massive role in dictating labor rights. There will always be hustlers like you, and that's fine, but we need people who have families to be able to support said families without sacrificing this much time to the job. I work in education and one of the most heartbreaking things I have witnessed countless times over is children who need more time with their parents. More support, more teaching, more lessons learned, more love, and that's hard to provide when they've got both parents busting their asses just to stay afloat. We don't live to work, we work to live. I busted my ass morning to night for a decade to build a skill, and it cost me a bit health-wise, socially, and even financially. I don't regret it, but I also wouldn't expect others to be able to go down the road I went, that's unfair, unrealistic, and unempathetic. If you're pushing to be at the top, in some respect, it's important to not forget about the people at the "bottom line". Circumstances are different for everyone, and we should work to make sure that the financial "bottom line" is livable. Anyways, respect to you man, keep up the hard work, but don't forget to enjoy the moments while they're here. The moments might feel long, but life definitely isn't. Sorry if this is a bit hard to read, my brain is a bit fried, just got off work myself and for some reason RU-vid decided to feed me work/labor content.
I agree with you I was really trying to talk to people who have the opportunity to work but they choose not to just because they wanna play video games. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment Fr it means a lot
He just checked if you are a guy to educate or a guy who quits as soon as pain shows up. I have done that looong time ago. Now my kicks are quite explosive. Just grind on. You will make it!
I root for you. Just grind on. Give a few years and work like crazy. You are young and you can see the work as workout. Save and plan for the future. You will make it!
It's great that you can do this, good on you for working hatd to set yourself up. Unfortunately not everyone has the mental health or physical health capacity to push themselves this far. Or they may be caring for kids, their parents or a disabled sibling. We all have different circumstances and try our best with that.
I 100% agree I’m more so talking to people who have the opportunity but just choose not to do it. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment Fr. Means a lot
I tell people u need enough money to survive this big recession thats coming . Ive seen tough times younger generation has not seen it but they will soon economy will eventually crash and your average person will be screwed especially if they dont have an emergency savings plan.
When you have a vision, you will not care what people say... like that young 19yr... he probably saw the car he wanted & the price calculated... that was his dry season. Once he reaches his goal, then he can slow down & live... I remember people would look at me & ask why do i work so many hours... my husband & i own a home. Have four cars in front of our home take vacations... im happy that i didn't let people discourage me.. I'm not material driven i buy what i need 😌... i was able to purchase my daughter & most of my cars cash... all praise to the most High 🙌🏾
It sucks. Grind it out anyway. I have a career job, married to my wife (stay at home mom), bought my house, 2 kids, car, suv, and truck all paid off, no college debt, no credit card debt, putting away 15% toward retirement. Make $74k in Oregon last year. Some weeks are 96hrs, average normal week is 52hrs. Make the effort worth it in yhe end, folks. Don't quit on your future.
100%. Have to pick ONE THING and focus on it solely. Might take years, but if you stick with it… it will happen. Doesn’t matter if it’s trading, sales or anything else. Problem is people go from one thing to the next (shiny object syndrome) and never put in the years of work it takes to make it happen.
These videos crack me up. I get it, but if you aren’t actively doing something to make it happen, then hoping and dreaming and wishing you were a millionaire is pointless. And will do nothing but wreck your mental health. Anyway, not saying you aren’t doing anything to make it happen, but the reality is that’s what most people do. Wish and dream.
I refuse to work 70 plus. Has to be temporary. I worked 72 or so. Maybe 80 after Covid shutdown. They worked everyone to death. 7 days a week for awhile. I never had money problems. But i was miserable and was so much happier working no overtime. Now I'm pushing 50. I'm irritated and tired but I'm surviving. Helps pay the bills so can't complain too much
Major respect for doing it, but make sure to keep track of your health. Don’t let your body deteriorate just for some extra money. You can’t buy health.
