I would disagree. I grew up in east-end Montreal where I suffered constant bullying from the separatists. My friend that lived across the street from me, both she and I were held against our will by a male frenchman that would eventually let her go. She would run and get her older brother and when he'd see them coming he'd run off and I was free. She and I were perhaps 10ish years old at the time. My family all moved out of Quebec because if you're English, you get treated like crap. To the person that said Canada is a great country, it used to be. But years of federal governments kissing Quebec separatists asses, bilingualism costs taxpayers 2.5 billion dollars each year, but Quebec is unilingual. You don't see English road signs, billboards, or anything else. But French expect to be spoken to in french in the rest of the country. So no, Quebec is not a good place, and they have cost us billions to keep them from breaking up the country. To Quebec I say "va chier".
