you saved my life, so easy i didn't need any help! seriously so easy. did it in less than 30 min. never selling my Rsx it's just to good! my 0-60 time aint bad for an RSX i bought for 5k. Yes it was rear ended so it has salvage title, but i'm never selling it anyways
Thanks for the video! Replaced mine in about 30 minutes! No jack required, no removal of panel’s, just a quick relocates of the power steering fluid reservoir . I used a long flat head to position the belt in tricky places and used an online diagram for positioning. For those looking to do this, make sure you buy the correct belt! Autozone, Advance Auto, NAPA, etc all have the WRONG SIZED BELT and claim it fits the RSX Type S. Their belt size is 68 5/8 inch. For my 2002 Type S (2004-06 is different) I used the Dayco 5070675 which is 67.5 inches, exactly the same length as the OEM belt. If you install the wrong belt, you’ll get loud noises and vibration from the pulleys at low RPMs.
Thanks for the video brother! May I ask how can you tell if you need a new one? When I turn on my AC if I’m near a wall like a drive thru I can kinda hear a little noise maybe coming from that area.
I guess that's how he hit a rock or what have u? Its a shame, gonna add these beauties on my 95 SL2, in the 15x7 4x100 +41. Can't resist the added performance of going from a 13 1/2 to 14 Lb stock saw tooth's to 9.5 Lbs...lol gonna run the Yokohama Advans on them, since I already have a MFACTORY limited slip differential , aluminum Fidanza flywheel, H&R sport springs, and a polyurethane master bushing kit on the car, including the engine mounts. But I'm thinking when I add the 2002-07 WRX coilovers I'll go another size lower profile tire in the Continental extreme contact and drop it another inch to an inch and a half more to get that perfect fit with a slightly better performance tire than the Yoko's but the Yokohama Advans are still a good performance tire though.
