Both of those looked sooooo, very delicious! Really. The first one, to me, is a little more of a lighter veggie one, & would be great on a hot, summer day! The second one, well, oh my! Definitely for anyone who is really hungry, & wants food that'll stick to your ribs. Yuuum! Adding that muenster cheese, & grilling, browning those buns was the real cherry on top! Curious, what type/brand of buns did you use in second sandwich? (probably same for first one) Thank you for your time and effort. Truly. This is absolutely not classic “Amish” macaroni salad & tastes nothing like “Amish Macaroni Salad”, which the Amish are world famous for. This name should be changed or deleted. Any one who makes this believing they are going to get the traditional “Amish taste” is in for a rude awakening.
Miss test my first payroll paying job was a skyline chili the Greeks are really tight was that recipe but the real true secret that recipe is freezing the chili and then reconstituting it bring it back it's it's 10 times the flavor and that's really the family secret is you got to freeze it and then we serve it that a littlewater and warm it up. All the chili that comes to those parlors in there in Cincinnati or all Frozen in blocks and they just add water to it the hamburger is cooked a little differently it's simmered longer cooked down to a fine consistency
A few days ago I decided on a whim to make this not knowing people actually do enjoy this dish. One of the best things I've ever had. Just an entire can of chilli, reduced to thicken it up, and made mashed potato with birds eye chillis, cilantro, butter, and a bit of onions. Mixed it w/ the chilli. Soooo hearty and filling. Also very easy and cheap.

"De-bubbling" is a complete waste of time. If pressure canning for 90 minutes doesn't work the bubbles to the top, nothing will. 90 minutes of processing will make any trapped bubble sterile, anyway. Also, what about the headspace- isn't that a big bubble? People get so wrapped around the axle with this. It is very revealing as to who has compulsive behavior issues over what they have been told vs being able to reason things out.
All these recipes look amazing, but I don't have the patience to make the gravies. Do you have a recipe for oven baked beef steak? I have never made beef steaks at home before.
