I started getting into oil pastels and for months and months that's all I wanted to use. It was a nice break from my usual mediums of alcohol markers and colored pencils. I think once you learn a new medium, it's new and fun so it's all you want to use for awhile. Plus, well I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but once I went back to my markers/colored pencils, I felt excited to use them again and a ton of new inspirations for new drawings came to me. EDIT: Digital art is definitely 100% real art! It takes a ton of skill, creativity and tons of practice, just like any other art form.
So I wanted to ask a question because how can you draw so better than me because I’m only six years old and one time I try a draw a mermaid but it was different so I change it right now and like because today is like on Monday, my name is Sammy Del Labre and thank you for teaching me how to draw eyes
I too still love the smell of crayons, new coloring books, and baby dolls LOL! Beautiful drawing and coloration! I’m not an artist like you, but a colorist. Was a nurse for 40 yrs, retired now, and started a few yrs ago with adult coloring as stress relief from my job, and now just life in general, using colored pencils. It wasn’t till recently that the crayon idea peaked my interest, so have gathered some crayolas & a few CraZart crayons and it’s people like you who inspire me to give them a try! Baby oil, with Q tip in small doses works a bit like OMS, giving it more of an air brushed, dreamy look. Gods Blessing my friend!
