Ciao Peter!
So you won that race Hicky does that mean every year you all go back to that temple. Faye looks a great Boss and knowing where to go in such a busy place I had fun watching the Taxi ride lol
I actually sub more often than I give a like, almost NEVER. This is worth it. INSANE. EDIT: I find an utter blasphemy this fellow has only shet 21K 😱followers!
Mate you need "Hickman flyby compilations" they are by far the best flyby vids ive ever seen on youtube because of the noise and how much you pushed that ZX6R. Awesome. Best of luck at TT 2024.🏆🙌
no sport in the whole of human history will ever compare to Isle of Man TT its worlds apart in every aspect. even spectators nerves are shot just watching.
A drying track makes for the trickiest of conditions. Either all wet or all dry will provide much more consistent feedback for the rider. Looking at the start line shot he was using Dunlop full wet tires and they didn't seem to overheat as Hicky wasn't in search of puddles late in the race. This guy could ride the wheels off a roller skate!
Congrats Hicky on an excellent ride! Got a video of King Kenny Roberts missing gears so it happens to everyone. Years ago Kawasaki attempted to solve the problem with a five up gear pattern on their two stroke triples. It did fix the first to second false neutral up shift problem but caused issues if the rider was not keeping track of his downshifts and possibly entering a corner free wheeling. A free wheeling bike does not want to turn, not a fun deal. Aprilia has the best idea, what they call a no neutral gearbox. Neutral at the bottom like Kawasaki did decades ago (or top if you're GP shift) but only accessible by pushing a bar mounted button. Awesome idea, no more missed shifts or getting neutral when you don't want it.
Great job. The camera position is fantastic, not seen anyone else do it. And the sound is spot on, wind and engine noise. Macau is such a great track. Can only describe it as like the Tron lightbikes with the trails of others being the walls. The retarmacing then sports cars on it too soon makes it ripple. Full Respect to you and any rider in Roadracing/Dakar solo. Track only riders not so much. Good luck at the TT 👍
Fantastic vlog - I cannot wait for the next instalment. Pete - you are a natural presenter - a job on Eurosport beckons in the future (hopefully a long way off yet!)
