We provide hospital-based services from four main sites -
Queen's Hospital, Burton-Upon-Trent - acute hospital services, including an Emergency Department
The Treatment Centre, on the Queen's Hospital site - a dedicated centre for day case surgery and treatments.
Samuel Johnson Community Hospital, Lichfield - local services, including a midwife-led maternity unit and a minor injuries unit.
Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, Tamworth - local services, including an endoscopy unit and a minor injuries unit.
We provide a wide range of services to a population of around 360,000 people across East and South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire.
Each year our hospitals perform more than 47,000 planned and emergency operations, receive more than 70,000 visitors to A&E and handle approximately 13,000 day case procedures.
Not for the patients. This hospital as far as 2018 were putting DNAR on patients without their consent and without a mental capacity assessment. People with temporary, recoverable infections. The CQC Inspector had to get involved when a social care staff member at the hospital reported it. How many people have lost their lives because of this? Advocate for yourselves and your family people. Check your notes.
