I honestly believe that in situations where close family relations are stationed overseas and the military branch learns about the desire for that soldier/sailor/airman to return to attend the ceremony, the Dept. of Defense should have a standing policy to not only get the military person back to the family, but also to pay for the priority transportation to achieve the reunion. The good publicity from such an endeavor would be outstanding!
