Hi Guys, I have something extremely similar to this model the colour is red stripes are the same white and the sticker at the front pip squeak is the same, it may be its predecessor as it has four screws which hold the wing on, also it has landing gear and steerable nose wheel but the one thing that makes it different is the nose cone it is not made of foam it is very thin flimsy hollow plastic cone which just slides on to the front with glue. Does anyone out there know which company made it?
Old video - but thanks, I'm building mine 11 years later - question: you seemed to have skipped over the battery mounts (which is right were I got stuck) as the orientation is not clear in the instructions/pictures. (Sure wish they took better pictures in the instruction manual). Thanks again.
Just received this transmitter and noticed that you cant use as3x and safe, as a newer pilot, would you recommend low rates for 3d plane? Also i have noticed that everytime i have to bind to receiver to get plane to respond to transmitter any advice?
My first and only rc plane is a 4 channel Delta Ray from Horizon Hobby. Great, fun plane but I'm restricted to large flying fields. It would be nice to fly in smaller areas as well. So for my next plane, I was tossing up between the Champ and the Sport Cub. Though now I see that the Champ is a 3 ch plane. I would prefer 4 ch like my Delta Ray. So I think I'll go with the Sport Cub instead.
Do you know where I can buy the carbon fiber wing tube for this plane? I am having no luck finding it. The person who sold me this plane apparently misplaced it. Thx Dan
The advice of taking off quickly to get away from the ground effect is probably the most good advice anyone could give. I tried to take off slowly when I first got mine and failed over and over
