Hi Everyone! I'm [KOT] G. I upload videos about Starblast, a game I started playing about 2-3 years ago. I will upload videos about ship reviews, strategies, and especially duels. Enjoy!
Translation: One or two good players snipe other team members so they will just quit. Then your team gets their level 7 ships while the other teams are still working on level 4 ships because they are new coming in. I get that it is a winning strat... just isn't fun for anyone but maybe the good players. Though, personally, I would find it boring unless there are good players on the other team also.
the biggest obstacle to winning games is stacks, hopefully teams will be randomized in the future, or team mode will be split into two separate modes where you either do or don't choose a team, so that solo players can join games and enjoy an experience without tryhard clans ruining it and making the game unwinnable for any other team that isn't also hyper-coordinated
My favorite line is Trident - Y-Def - Pioneer - Howler - Barracuda. The ship line is mostly consistent in terms of mining and attacking, with the Pioneer being able to outspeed most ship from T4 to T6, and the Howler being the Jesus Christ of T5s. The alternative upgrade, the Rock-Tower, is also a great ship.
I mean you played extremely well against the shadow x-3 but unfortunately it has enough damage that it can be 100 gems and hit 3 times and kill you after you spend forever skillfully trying to kill it. Great video by the way!
Hey, just gonna point out, I mine until I reach tier 3, then I upgrade a bit, and attack. I don't have to mine a lot for the rest of the game, until I reach new tier: I just upgrade a few stats, and then attack again, using the gems gained to upgrade more. Obviously, I am not a great team contributor most of the time, but I get so many enemy players to rage quit, and downgrade that by the time our miners are ready to attack, there is nothing left to attack. Mining can be important, but you don't have to mine, and it's not absolutely necessary. You picked the second best path in my opinion. The X-warrior can combat tier 4's 5's and even 6's under the right circumstances. Pro players can defeat any ship with X-warrior. Even once my team reaches third level and fourth level, I am with x-warrior, mining the base to get pods. Once it is in fourth level for a few minutes, then I upgrade to aetos, get a pod from base, upgrade to a-speeder, and get another pod. The video was really good, I enjoyed it. :)
also a strategy I use when other teams bases are ahead of my teams, is to buy mines and place them, that way your upgrading your base and downgrading there base, this strategy has changed the course of the game before, also make sure not to die before you place all your mines, I suggest bringing someone along to defend you.
Okay, first of all, I'm going to say that the A-Speeder is in my top 3 favorite ships. However, even if used properly it is difficult to kill tier 7s. Noobs, maybe, but normal players, no. The advanced-fighter is the best ship for killing tier 7s, or the scorpion. The A-speeder doesn't have a strong enough shot, nor a strong enough defense. For example, 1 shot for the odyssey would completely cripple the a-speeder. JUST ONE SHOT. A second shot would kill it. Even killing an Aries would be difficult because it has a ton of a shield. A good video though! Edit: I would guess it took you 20+ minutes to kill the leader with the a-speeder.
