I have little mod knowledge but I'm sure they just turn a carbuncle into either you or a character wearing the same outfit as you. A tiny bit less creepy cause they aren't using your character but they still can copy your character whenever save it and plaste it on the summon.
I would love to see you do more FF14 stuff. You are criminally underrated. Very entertaining! After the video I even went over to Odin to see if you're there :D
ah am i glad i dont play on EU. this video just proves me right once again. Such negativity with the sole purpose of just bringing others down instead of letting live. The best part of this video is ur bashing stuff u have no knowledge about. That dj , Aemilia Saetella is actually a very good DJ, so good that she makes 5 peoples monthly salaries by doing it full time... The ''stupid'' fashion contest? people have mods that sync eachothers mods, creating complete custom modded gear for these events etc made by real designers, hence why u sound dumb when u say shit like ''they dont even look remotely like that anime character Ha Ha look how silly'' it just makes u look dumb cuz u have no clue whats going on. alsooo, first time u ever heard of erotic stuff online? I mean i love being based too but you are trynna be funny but u come across like a dumbass cuz none of ur jokes are actually thought thru, u just gaslight urself and viewers into thinking they are.
im someone that literally can ONLY play tank in trinity mmos because it’s always easiest for me, i will N E V E R understand the YTYP people. worst case scenario i might be pulling light cause I mismanaged MY OWN mits, which is MY FAULT!!!!
Yeah, I second you the LB statement. I use it on boss because most of the time it's never used on trash and i main melee (or sometime you just don't have a ranged/caster in the party). It's so much better on trash. It's on the same mentality as some players not using their burst on trash to keep them for bosses : You will clear faster if you melt adds with your buffs. If you want to be a bit more in depth, you should LB on the largest pack that is not under a 2 min widow.
So...I listened to the first video at work and it had me wheezing, and knew I had to show my partner when i got home. The visuals made us both laugh to the point of tears, and I think about Nachovy regularly. Im sick today, working from home, and this is good medicine.
I have to say, I honestly don't see the problem with the nightclubs. I can certainly see why some people might find them annoying or just not for them, but I don't see how the practice is actually *harmful.* If a bunch of people enjoy paying 15,000 gil for a pretend drink, or AFKing with a dance emote while they watch anime on their other monitor, or even paying someone for ERP, then they have the right to do so. None of this actually hurts anyone else, right? Is there just something I'm missing here?
Now, things could have changed, but I understand pulling one pack of mobs instead of the 2-3 packs. In Heavensward sometimes people tried to pull as much as they could but if tank/healer gear was lower the numbers even with mitigation made it hell. Granted, please remember heavensward tanks had two stances, enmity and damage. We still had aggro management with shade walker, cut to enmity with shroud, etc etc. We also had TP. So there were times where large trash pulls and poor DRG or other melee ran out of TP even after invigorate/goad, and could run out of resources before killing everything. GRANTED. When I play currently, I haven't seen problem. I just always worry if in the back of my mind if a tank or healer is undergeared and there's 10+ adds if we will be okay. Almost every time we are, but I still remember paper tanks being shredded.. and no amount of mitigation could save them from the sheer amount of auto attacks if we ran out of mana/tp to DPS :')
This is in regards to DPS pulling more adds. I'm all about big pack pulls. Every day. I do it by default. But it doesn't hurt to be mindful if there's a reason why someone wants to do small pulls.
In regards to duty finder, I'm so grateful that this behavior is the exception. Generally people are super nice, even when giving critique. I can count the number of bad DF experiences I've had on one hand.
In regards to the nightclub scene, I struggle to even find it, it certainly didn't overwhelm my experience to the game. Thankfully, I think with the loads of information the game has, a lot of the metasocial aspects will get filtered out until the player's processed everything else.
YoshiP, the producer, has said in the past that DPS or Healer going in front of the Tank and attacking them getting all the hate, which is called “Sakidsuri(先釣り) “, sucks and he’ll always fight the urge to just let them die and understands people that do that. And it’s stated in the first few lessons you can get as a beginner not to do so. So yeah maybe you only do DPS and don’t know, but as a tank person, just stop it. It’s easier for us to attack first than try getting back the hate you just gained just to shorten a few secs. I don’t know if that’s the culture of the servers abroad, but just don’t do it…it’s not worth it. Do understand that the game system is built on the foundations that tank is the lead.
Hey while I do appreciate the tank enjoyers dropping by to share their views(ビュー), the point of that section was to poke fun at tanks who refuse to play, not to justify dps players who pull packs. Both are assholes, but one is a mild inconvenience while the other is a waste of time for the whole party.
So what exactly is the problem with people having fun? About chat adds are definitely annoying, but disrespecting the whole venues scene is just weird. Good luck finding something social to do with your character in WoW and other endgame-focused MMOs. As a former WoW player, occasionally taking a break from current content and taking my character in FF14 to a party in one of these venues is just refreshing.
I still remember the day where i got limsa in a group call called "Raz Dante fanclub" with Raz Dante and it was 1hour of him arguing with everyone. And then he took us all to a gay nightclub in ff.
i hate these nightclubs that give RPers a bad name like i have to fight for my life when i explain im a heavy character driven RPer and not whatever nightclub rp is
Ngl, this whole industry is even making people who just want to socialize and ERP casually not bother anymore. Let me have some fun getting to know each other and indulging in interactive erotica instead of just syncing on Mare so you can jack off to models and animations. I know many people who play the game don't have amazing social graces and I'm a bit wary around new people too, but I just wish the ones you met in clubs were more talkative.
I can give some insight into the synced "dance-shows" in clubs. So they are all in a prty ingame together. They use macros which have all the skills, the different wait times, GS changes etc included. And then there is a "Leader" macro that has some extra steps and some extra lines that show when a countdown has to be activated if a "performance" consists of more then 1 macro.
my friends and I went to a club once and clipped into the walls and stayed there for the entire evening. at some point, some of the other guests started joining us, because crawling in the walls is more fun than idling in a basement
If I play heal and we get a tank of mentality of "you pull you tank" i will just tell the dps to go ahead and pull ill heal them out lmao. :D Just as much as you dont need a healer for content, you dont really need a tank either. Also, high level players will suggest to use lb for trash mobs because its more worth... I actually sometimes tell people in lower dungeon to pls lb the mobs cause the boss melts anyway.
I’ve just stayed back from the night clubs, the ERP and the rest of it. I’ve mostly avoided the dungeon drama by staying silent and doing the job I’m on. I do have a problem with people who punish a player for being new to a job. I had that with Dancer. I died and the healer did revive me. I was cool with and got a snack. It wasn’t until another run until someone told me what I was doing wrong. So I explained I was new to the job and corrected. I learned from him. Not the healer who just didn’t do his job.
My favorite night club experience was going to some beautiful venue only to learn that in a one off room, there was a cult being made. Apparently the RP situation was that some tin foiled lunatic thought there was a secret race of people controlling the world as we knew it at that we would soon convert the rest of the unknowing patrons to the cult. It was actually a lot of fun.
Stop complaining a out tanks not wanting you to mess up their pulls you dps brain. A lot of bad dps players will pull mobs and die and screw up the whole group so its harder to pull. Sure, dps can pull groups in a way that doesnt mess up the pull but not all do and its a bad habit if the dps sometimes get 1shot cuz they pulled too early. Just let the tank engage, its that simple.
So glad the clubs can now just boot trolls like you out. You also failed to mention in your highly edited video that you were asked to leave MULTIPLE times very politely before the owner stepped in. Clubbers are active subscribers helping the game by paying their subs. Almost all of the clubbers I know also play the game as in do MSQ/Extremems/Raids so why do you care what they do with their time? They arent hurting anyone, you had to activly go to their venue to troll them. Leave em alone let them do what makes em happy
