The quality of his videos is good but if you watch his video on the history of SRV’s guitars it it riddled with historical errors especially with dates, which is kind of important. It’s a shame because it undermines the credibility of the information in his videos.
It's not just that video. The general information is usually fine, but the details have a lot of errors or unfounded speculations that can be found on spots like Wikipedia.
@@thezakkuhnshowI only know Gibson guitars well enough to catch a lot of the errors. Every video I’ve seen that concerns archtops has errors. I also showed him sources from Gibson that showed errors in describing the origin of the mini-humbucker after he said we must be using “different source material”. That comment with the link to sources that refuted his video script was deleted.
I don't have artists that are specific to seasons but I have a Playlist for every season that essentially contains the ~vibes~ of the season. I don't think I can explain it but some songs just give off a specific seasonal vibe to me and if I end up liking the song enough it ends up in the playlist. The first Playlist I made was for fall 😂
The David Grissman/Garcia stuff is just amazing, THAT is when I knew how good Jerry was, my hairs are standing on end, “Russian lullaby” just thinking about it.
I definitely associate different music with different seasons, especially if I going through a memorable time in my life and was listening to someone specific, I'll associate that album/artist with that time in my life. that being said I can totally listen to those same artist year round, but in certain times of the year they just hit different.
I associate the first album by The Fray with fall time. Maybe it’s a nostalgia thing, but I used to listen to it when I picked up running again after the hot summer. From New England, it would be weird to listen to Jimmy Buffett with 3 feet of snow out in December. Catch my drift? 😂

Kids these days may want vintage equipment, but they sure as hell can’t afford it. I think any instrument with a modern reissue, the original is going to plummet in price. The only instruments I see surviving are the quirky and not often seen, like EB-6s and that sort of thing, that don’t have a modern equivalent
