老師是民國53年在忠孝國小四年級時的導師，雖然只有短短數月，卻是在求學過程中心目中最棒的老師！ 那時初中還要聯考，在高壓下回首在忠孝3年其實是一段不堪的歲月，四上曾因經濟因素，遲交幾十元課後輔導費（記得是30元）被當時的導師「王炳西」在朝會後即當著全班將我趕出教室，因無錢無車可搭，我只好流著羞愧的眼淚步行近10公里回到大肚山腳的家，後即轉到鄭老師班上。 當時碰過的其餘老師，總習慣以鞭打同學為慣常！ 惟老師善良純厚諄諄誘導，印象中不曾見過他鞭打同學，且在每月收取課後輔導費時，他總會主動免除一些同學的費用（雖然我從未被免交）。 猶記得四下期末，發期考成績時，我在沒額外補習下進步到全班第三名，老師當時對我的誇講！ 這也是和老師間最後的對話！ 升上5年級後，是另一段壓力爆表的歲月，遺憾沒能再親炙老師的教誨，然數十年來，師恩常存我心！謝謝您！

2017年7月份 六龜 山地育幼院詩班在大温幾个城市巡迴表演了幾塲, 本人欣賞了二塲, 好到不得了, 願主保守眾人的脚步興寇教授的健康, 繼續為主發光。
