You Razor guys im trying to look and decide from all those models or one from the USD that could be the Sway since i really dont like at all the Aeon desing. Im between the Shift, SL, Cult or Sway. Can any one give an opinion? Thanks and thanks for the great video
This is so helpful. The cuff rivet on side of my size 17 Roces skates broke and I've been trying to figure out how to fix it. This is what I needed. Thank you.
Razors Genesys > Cult > Shift and is one of my favorite skates ever, sort of a perfect in between from the Rollerblade TRS to the USD Sway. Haven't tried the SL's yet tho.
@@karlisbowman5607Are there any other skates (not just Razors) besides the SL that don’t hurt your feet? I’m at the point where I’m considering just skating SLs for the rest of my life because everything else I’ve tried hurts, but I want to believe that I can have success with something else.
Spectacular of you to share all the comparisons. Good work! Love the way the Omnis sound. Solid and chunky compared to the crunchier and clackiness I hear from Razors. Almost sounds like metal frames. 👍
@@karlisbowman5607 for someone like me who tried K2 fatty in the mid 90s then tried k2 again early 2000s... they weren't for me. I literally couldn't stand in the skates.
Yeah I know sometimes skates that worked way back dont work nowdays. Ive been skating razors forever and never thought I would find another skate that would work for me , till I got the Omnis
Thanks for the video! I had tried on the medium Omni and couldn't make it work as a 278mm Mondo. I skate the 8-9 SL and 8-9 Genesys and am glad to hear that the large Omni 10-10.5 isn't that much bigger than those shells.
Hi! question, is the shift taller than the fluids? or they have the same height? I am thinking of getting one soon, and I can see that the shifts are like a bit taller? like same height with the Slimline? I am just used to shorter frames like the fluid and Gc featherlites, thanks for any input on this. would be of great help. I am caught between getting this vs the Element 1 kelso frames :-)
I love your skating, but I wish you would do more tutorials. I need tutorials from a fellow tallness enjoyer! There are certain aspects of flips and spins that typical short rollerbladers can't teach, because they don't have the experience of having the extra height and weight distribution to deal with.
I still think fluid fives with 58 round wheels are the best flat setup if you are bad at skating flat but when the groove is rounded off and broken in on these, you can skate way thicker obstacles than the Kizer fluid fives on 58's. Nice of you to notice that flat frames don't grind on the h block but the side walls, a lot of people don't realize that.
I've just tried out a session in the vcut cuff and it is way to flexy for my liking, felt like I was going to break an ankle every time I turned! Original it is for me!
Yeah there is nothing wrong with them stock. They are great skate right out of the box. I am just very particular with how I prefer to customize them to my style of skating
Great review! When you said the frame is a little heavier, this is compared to which frame? Is the shift frame heavier in the freestyle set up than the type M and heavier than the fluid 4 in antirocker?
I would say USD Aeon, or a Razors Cult is a good place to start . You really have to try some skates on , thats the only real way to know what feels good.
Is installing the razors one piece soul difficult? Do i have to modify the boot in any way? Or do they just fit? I really love that they put the hardware in the soul. Those two t nuts kill my feet.
