Thanks Glenn! We know there's lots of cruise tours out there but we've tried to make it in the format we'd find most helpful ourselves so cheers for that!
Hi. Best and most informative tour of the ship I've seen yet - and I've seen many. We sail 22/9 ( so not long now ) and I was just wondering if the numbers were starting to dwindle as most vids have said that the ship is very crowded but in September this should change. Thanks in advance
We sailed in May and while it was busy, it wasn't bad. Most areas are able to cope well with crowds except the entrance to the theatre. Buffet gets quieter as you go further in.
That's a tough one. The behaviour of the some of the passengers surprised us a little bit but there's a bit of a cultural difference that we'd probably put that down to.
We are going to take this ship by the end of Sept. Really looking forward to it!! I am trying to find out the hight limitation/ age restriction for the water slider. We are bringing our 4-year-old son. I am wondering if he would be allowed to take that...
@@babybokchoiii Have found this from someone else online that might help "The minimum height for the slides is 102 cm or 40 inches. The age restriction is 7 and over. " There's definitely smaller ones he'll be able to use
Thank you! We watch videos like this before all our cruises so make them the way we think they'd have helped us if that makes sense 😂 You're going to love it. Aqua80 is amazing!!!
I really like this ship, and it looks similar but slightly smaler than the Seashore (which I may do next year). It reminds me of how the Voyager class is a smaller version of the Freedom class on Royal. The MSC ships look like fun and I'm excited to try one!
Looks like a great cruise - I haven't made it onto Grandiosa yet, but have had some of my best ever cruises on Virtuosa, so would love to give it a try. Also, I've had that Cruise Director before and found him to be fantastic for MSC!
I really enjoyed your video. You made me laugh out loud: Mini on crack! And stoned plushie. Thank you! My question is: is the port (ships) walking distance to see things or is transport needed? Thank you again. Shellie
We're going from Venice to Croatia, Montenegro and Greece. MSC Armonia so it'll be the smallest ship we've done so far. Looking forward to see what it's like.
Ah cheers! It's a really nice ship. There's a nice quiet spot a deck or 2 up from the Safari pool where I always found a sun lounger. We saw the Sweet show in the Carousel Lounge. If you're into shows, it's worth the upcharge. The Hola Tapas place is worth the extra money too. We went to the TV studio bar a good bit.
We are on the same cruise in October. Didn't look as crowded as all the message boards says it is right now. What Experience level did you sail with, and what were your general impressions?
We were Bella. It was in late May and wasn't too packed at all. We really loved the ship. It felt very spacious and open. Always found good spots on deck to lie in the sun.
Nice video, thank you for sharing! I have a few questions? - how much time did you have to wait in line for the attractions? - were you able to bring food/water to the park? - from the website I could see te park opens at 4pm to 10pm, do you think it's enough time to see and ride everything? Thank you in advance!
Thanks for the comment! So I've actually been again since. The first time (in this video) was during the Covid pandemic. The second time was after. The queues were much shorter the second time. Red Force can be long but gets quite a lot shorter as it gets later. You'll definitely get to do everything from 4pm to 10pm. You can bring water but not 100% sure about food. It's worth going for Red Force alone!
I did this exact itinerary in Nov '22 and what you did in San Juan & St. Thomas was better than what I chose to do. This was a concise highlight vlog of your cruise. Nicely done.
Love the video guys. I've visited Italy before, but did not get a chance to go to Sicily. Maybe one day! On a different note, what is your opinion of MSC? I'm sure you'll have a video from this trip, but I'm considering them for a trip next year.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, we enjoyed Sicily. Would definitely go back. We really like MSC. This was our third cruise with them and we actually have one booked for September with them. We find they're more chilled out, we really like the food and we've just tended to feel more relaxed with them than the other lines we've tried.
@@josephj9828 thank you! Appreciate that! We were in Naples and Genoa too on this trip. Our next one leaves from the other side of Italy, from Venice to Croatia, Montenegro and Greece.
Are records of the people who left Ireland during the Famines held at the museum? My great great grandfather came from Tully, Kilgass, which is less than 10km from the Nation Famine Museum.
