Just discovered your channel and you are such an awesome teacher! Thank God for you! These tips are top tier !!! And yes please would love another in-depth video of all things Alchemy!🔥🔥🔥 Thanks Seids!
I saw that Image Sounds has 2 packages: Pro Percussion Bundle and Pro Drums Bundle, packages that have the drum samples placed in folders, each samples has its own folder where the elements are unpacked: kick, snare, hats, etc. I like this kind of construction because i can take a sound and load its elements in drums machines, i always know that the items in a folder will match, it's like having a stem separator on the kick samples. There are around 180 GB quality samples in these packages in this format of course: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Giz3WHWFzN8.html. I can't go back to the old way of working now that I found this format, anyway good luck with the channel.
This video was great, as they usually are. Have you done a video on panning, yet? I tend to pan a lot of my rhythmic synth sections, quite a bit I've been wondering if it's overkill or unnecessary.
Heya Seids! All of your tips and tricks are clutch! Now my song is arranged, and I am completely in the dark on mixing and mastering. Does your ebook have a step by step walk through on this? I know it can be a rabbit hole, so what I’m looking for is top level instruction and methodical sequence/process to mixing and mastering!
I am thinking of moving to Japan, dragging my studio with me, so this was a great insight thank you! Have you been to any commercial size studios over there?
so ? You did not get the FOCUSRITE Fast bundle I can hear ? ; ) .Trust me ; mixing and mastering engineers have long beards ; white ones ...and that has a VERY good reason ; ). Trust THE process ,the FOCUSRITE FAST bundle is seamless genius to transform your mix easy into a professional Song .
Good stuff. I've been watching some of the Jack Antonoff videos on his productions and he add lots of sounds and foley bits to his productions too. I think the key is lots of sounds added, but only once maybe twice as something listener notices like someone tapping them on the shoulder lightly. Kind of like the Beatles and now and then George Harrison in a solo would intentionally bend a note, but not quite to pitch, it grabbed the listeners attention and they weren't quite sure why.
Honestly - sharing a halfway done work takes a lot of courage and I really applaud you for it. This is super valuable seeing your thought process on how you work through these things and is helping me with my own production as I work on my album. Thanks Seids!
Don’t be fooled, Cubase/Nuendo is a much MUCH better DAW. Sad part is, people will believe this without cross referencing whether this can be done or not in Cubase/Nuendo. Since 2006 we can do multiple takes and join them (bounce/render) as one track. I made a huge jump from Nuendo 4 to Cubase 13 and EVERYTHING she has tried say that we can’t do, most already existed in Nuendo and only got better for Cubase13.
