Awesome.... I live in Arcadia and went through hurricane Ian to. Florida cracker born and raised here and that was the craziest hurricane I have ever seen. I netted a few mullet yesterday near Don Pedro Island close to Boca grande but caught nothing like what you're getting.
BUDDY!! I live in WV now but grew up in Punta Gorda, Charlotte county SW FL. everything about your video makes me home sick. I love your home. It reminds me of my neighborhood growing up and we smoked mullet all the time. my family survived on mullet, snook, bass, SS turtle, bull frogs, hogs and deer meat. keep up the good work Buddy.
The camera falling was actually pretty cool, cause its almost like seeing it from the turkeys point of view of getting shot😂 great hunt tho congratulations on a nice thunder chicken
We build special nets, back when we thought bigger was better I had 1200 in a 15’40# net. It took two hours to clear it. So now we throw heavy 12’ nets, you can clear 300 a throw every 10 minutes until you puke. 🤢
Do you really need that many damned mullet? That's just plain greedy. Take only what you need, then throw the rest back to ensure the bounty of mullet continues for succeeding generations. Set the example, guys!
I’m a commercial fisherman providing for my family. I need to catch a lot more than that to make a living. I try to catch around 30k lbs each winter. Commercial fishing is very strictly regulated in Florida to ensure the future of the fishery. I don’t know of anyone getting rich commercial fishing for mullet so to call us greedy is just plain ignorant.
That's about all one will hold.only see that 2 times one time it was a 14ft net right at 1500 about 1300s all you'll catch in a 12ft net definitely a meat shot them fish must have been tight n rite
I also grew up here in Florida and never ate chanterelle mushrooms,im always afaid of eating a bad one,but i think i have them on my property, the squirrels are always running around with what looked like a piece of cheese.
I’m gonna be heading to Florida in a few months and would like to get a pig or two. That shot are you shooting or would you recommend a rifle. We are more versed with rifles.
I hunt public land for hogs during small game season and only shotgun or rim fire is allowed. That’s why I use 00 Buckshot. Otherwise I’d be using my 30-06.
