There are all sorts on here, but what you won't find is gaming, pornography, sport, or me beaming inanely at the camera.
None of my content is created for kids (13 yrs old or less), but I have no objection to younger people watching my films, it's just that kids are not my intended audience.
With that in mind, there is no swearing, violence, dangerous practices, or attempts at education. If I provide information and some snippets lodge in the grey matter for longer than a minute or so then we all benefit, but my foremost aim is to entertain.
Great video. Love the dene. It's a shame Armstrong sold armaments to both sides of the American civil war, singlehandedly militarised Imperial Japan while it was still feudal and let his wife bring invasive rhododendron to the British Isles. Also, the noonday gun mentioned in Noel Coward's "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" is still there in Hong Kong, and bears a stamp stating that it was made in Elswick, but not Newcastle. He was also an active breaker of unions rather than a philanthropist. If you know where the abandoned path is in the dene you know where the free parties happen.
Bet that Scotsman MP is another 'import' into s safe seat. The Labour party have loads of them in the NE. One of my ex MPs was from Peterborough??? a far cry from Gateshead and he was useless.
Nice work. Always loved this part of town, a real olde worlde feel to the place. Also has my ancestor, Harry Clasper's Blue Plaque on the High Level Bridge.
Thank you, kind sir. Harry Clasper, for those wondering, was a prodigious rower, scoring many plaudits and prizes for outstanding speed in his little boat along the Tyne. He designed world beating racing shells with outriggers. He also invented the spoon shaped oar. He died, aged 68 in 1870.
Heading back too this but on a grander scale. I didn't understand it back then now however I totally get it. Need too take control back the rich have far too much power over us.
Who The Hell wasn' t in real love with Diana Rigg? She was the Super Hero before Comic book Super Heroes existed. She didn't even have to try to be Sexy. It was Natrual for her. The Avengers was my favorite show like Gazzilion of everyone else
As a prepubescent young man in America I was "smitten" by Diana Rigg's portrayal of Mrs. Peel in BBCs The Avengers. Feminity, intelligence, athleticism with an excellent wit. A near perfect icon of 20th century feminity. It was obvious to me she was the "brains" on the Avengers. Dame Rigg's portrayal as Tracy Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service along with Telly Salvalos as Blowfeld elevated the film in the pantheon on Bond films without Sir Sean Connery. To a very talented and exquisite lady Dame Rigg...RIP.
I remember watching the avengers when i was a little boy Diana Rigg mrs peal her character name she kick 🦵 mens behind period it wasn't even a challenge for mrs peal rest in peace ✌️ Diana Rigg
Don't care bunch of. Bullies live there. I lived there and cause my mam was in a wheelchair all the so called hard men(scummy chav's). Started bullying us. They were all hard and gangsters in their little gangs. But by themselves when anyone confronts them its all, It wasn't me it was my brother, It wasn't me mate i wasn't even there , Pathetic really. They watch too much television and believe they are well hard gangsters , Yet by themselves they are quiet almost like the can't fight. Except in their little pack of scumbag chav's. Absolute jokes they are bullying a old woman cause she was in a wheelchair. The disgusting @nimals , Then they wonder. Why nobody wants to visit their shitty little area
Hmm, I smell BS. She said her herself she went for a screen test with many others, chatted to producer immediately afterwards agreeing it wasn’t going to be her, and a day or two later they called with the offer. So certainly not “hired on the spot”. Do your research…
I think that that 215 United, which ironically followed the Northumbria's an upstart company along with Scarborough and District which took about half of United's territory upon deregulation, was the Sunderland to Darlington one.The Sunderland to Middlesbrough had a similar number but i think that was the 212.
I live near Hartlepool and for me bus is the best way to get to Durham City as by train it's either via Newcastle or via Thornaby and Darlington (unless it's a Sunday and you can take advantage of the 3 a day direct Hartlepool to Darlington services!)so it'll be good to have the bus station reopened. It's wasn't so good when they went from the street as the 24 went from a different stop to the 58 and 59 and they were quite far apart .
Despite what the copyright pranksters at RU-vid say, the version of "Fiddle Faddle" by Leroy Anderson I used here is not the Eastman Rochester "Pops" Orchestra, but an earlier version from a 78 on Decca Records, issued in 1951 conducted by the composer himself. The much slower Frederick Fennell 2017 rendition is here for comparison. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n14AhC1vKeA.html
