My experience is exactly the same as the reviewer. Ok for the first day, connected to the rather cheesy app, but woke up to find it dead. The LED’s flash slowly at first, and then more quickly indicating that there is a charging problem. I’ve managed to get a refund from the trading website as the supplier in China failed to respond with anything positive…. Buy something else.
@@DaveTheKayaker it says in the description pieces for bracing , Do you mean paddle bracing? Or stabilizer bracing? Great video, im making it this week
Oh, now I understand. It is those little blocks of wood that you screw the rounded pieces to and then also into the main beam. It braces or shores-up the rockers
You have to actually inflate the boat lol. Needs to be stiff and tight in the skirt.the floor isn't inflated obviously in you vid. You can inflate the bottom to form the v and rigidity.
The bottom inflates to a stiffer level. It is comfy, been 20 miles in one, rapids and all. It's an incredible boat. By the look of the skirt, you did not have enough air in it. The v bottom will shape up depending on how much air you put in. The truth is, it's harder to paddle than a rigid boat but will never tip and is a lot of fun if your young enough to use it lol.also, take the seat out, it's much better
Granted, I could have inflated it more but did not want to overinflate it. That said, one of the air vents on the bottom popped open less that 1/4 mile downriver. Of course, I did not take the pump with me so there really wasn't anything I could do at that point.
So you're obviously not a diabetic otherwise you would be concerned with that initial BG reading of only 4.6 mmol/L and not be saying "who knows what that means at this point". As a type 1 diabetic and after using the Dexcom G6 CGM, I am totally interested in the technology associated with these smart watches. Dexcom (along with other invasive CGM's), have priced themselves to the point where NO ONE can afford them, so I hope the likes of Dexcom and Abbot are starting to feel nervous about their long run of money scalping is finally coming to an end!!
I am not diabetic and share your hopes for new technology that will be able to measure blood glucose non-invasively. We are not there yet. That's why I am interested in this space. I am a very low carb athlete and primarily use ketones for energy, so low blood glucose does not concern me. Please note, dietary ketosis is *very different* from ketoacidosis which is a life-threatening condition. The fact that I am low carb is why I have an interest in this technology. I ultimately would like to know what spikes my blood glucose and what doesn't.
I have this watch for about 2 weeks now and I'm more than happy with it. As are thousands of others I read and heard the reviews from. It's working great and there are no issues with any of the features whatsoever. It's highly personable and the app (RDFit) is working like a charm. I personally would absolutely recommend it. I think you might have had a bad one out of the tens or maybe hundreds of thousands that are produced. It unfortunately happens some times. Even with the big high end expensive brands. I'm just wondering why you didn't send it back and asked for another one to test it out and right of the back discarded it as a clunker. I don't think this is much of a honest review.
Wow. Some call me a shill for smartwatch companies and now I'm being called out for honestly reviewing and calling them as I see them. I guess I must be doing something right. These are all honest reviews based on my experience, good, bad, or ugly. And by the way, "Remco Wirken," I'd love to know where you saw those "thousands" of reviews. Better yet, do your own video review of this watch and upload it to your channel. It will be your 1st video.
I got 2 questions Do I need to wear the watch while I’m sleeping! And I get the notification on my phone but not on the watch, is there something I’m doing wrong?
If the Chinese can replicate a Samsung watch for such a competitive price, then Samsung are ptofiteering, and I have no sympathy for them. Thank you for your review.
The whole topic of "knockoff" products can get very emotional. But I do wonder how the big boys can charge so much more for high end watches when there really aren't differences significant enough to justify the high price. Even Apple watches are made in China.
@DaveTheKayaker I got a cheap ZL28 smart watch that also does everything the the Samsung watches do but I got frustrated with tge battery only lasting just over a day before needing to be recharged and the last 30% seemed to go very quickly.
Hello Dave, I was trying to see how I can modify my time because in the smartch watch in my time for example is 12:49 AM when actually it is PM because we are in the afternoon, do you know where can I modify it? I tried in smartch watch and in the DA FIT app and I couldn't find the option. Thanks
