This is my favourite story from Howard. It is a great loss that he was just perfecting his Art. Hopefully, his mind was transferred to this place of his dream, to live in... whichever way we remember.
Really like Lovecraft's use of language. The narrator is great. Perfect voice for these stories. I always listen to this narrator when I have a choice.

Wow, saw my own profile pic and was like " 😱 omg , what kind of racist is running this channel " ? That's my rescue kitty . Well you know what kind of reputation Lovecraft had
I'm 30 minutes in and for the last 20 minutes I have no clue where this story is going or what he's talking about. Sometimes I think Mr Lovecraft was a bad writer.
I expected a lot more infohazards in Lovecraft`s works, and yet, out of 63 stories I read so far, only two stories (including this one) actually used it. Interesting. Good story though (even though I don`t agree with the message, which Lovecraft repeated in several other stories).
lovecraft has a lot of correspondence and co-works, while this may be known to have been written by another author, at least the lore is hp lovecraft in origin.
