I created this channel simply to share a hobby of mine; that being demonstrating some basic experiments with inexpensive consumer grade wind turbines and related equipment. Over the last year I've grown and branched out a little into some "not so inexpensive" equipment, as well as playing with some of my other hobbies. I hope my viewers, those who came for the cheap wind turbine tinkerings, don't mind the occasional expensive turbine and motorcycle or any of my other toys I hope to show off. It's all meant to be fun, they're all my toys, and I hope everyone who watches enjoys what I do!
This is good to know, because eventually i want a vertical axis turbine but all are suffering from the same result in rpm, now thier are higher voltage VAT which i think would benefit higher voltage.
Could you recommend the best turbine kit (including rectifier and charge controller) to hook up to a 48v eg4 battery bank with a solar charge controller and inverter already connected to the bank?
Could you recommend a turbine that comes with a charge controller and rectifier? I'll be hooking it up to an eg4 48v battery bank with an eg4 solar charge controller/inverter connected as well
Thanks for your valuable insight. I was so glad to see how cheap these are. I've heard that a battery shut down of an inverter under load, can cause damage to the inverter. So, I'm going tap into the low voltage wires of my inverters on/off switch, to turn off my inverter /charger , before my 8s lifepo4 battery shuts down from a low cell. I have yet to see an 8s lifepo4 battery, make it down to the 21 v low voltage shut-off of most 24v inverters.
I will be using solar and wind turbines. I know the solar setup I'm getting (all eg4 brand from Signature Solar and my panels from Santan) and I'm trying to figure out how I can connect wind turbines to the same battery bank (I've been told I would need to buy a separate charge controller to hook the turbines into the same battery bank as the panels). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We are interested about the '400' turbine with bigger magnets and larger wire, about which you said that it works better than the '500' turbine that had the smaller magnets and smaller wire and was not as productive. Will you tell us what is the name of the good one? ... where you bought it ? from which company is ? and how much was the total cost with delivery at your address with everything sent from China or from the online company from wherever it was sent to you three years ago ? I think your next step is just go for buy 2000 to 5000 wind turbine. I to feel like I'm getting scammed with the 500 w turbines. I'm building a new tower About 38 feet tall That could handle a 10000 W turbine and I'm gonna test it with a 2000. I have been watching your videos, but I'm in a little bit of a different situation because I have nice wind lake affect. Subscribed.
bought one a week ago,,,120 bucks,,,,like it alot,,,but it is erratic whenever gps is on,,soi leave it off,,and dont use my phone either,,,waitin on a replacement rear left arm,,,
i repair and sell inverters and i do not sell Powmr MPPTs,they consistently fail on controllng the lifepo4 batteries cutoff voltage and damages them, it could even start a fire if the customer did not also use the BMS ; and there is no kind of warranty because they are in china avoid it goes POW Mr

Por experiencia aprendí que el tamaño de las aspas es sumamente importante, sin carga alguna puede que gire, pero al generarle carga se bloqueará el rotor causando resistencia. No habrá suficiente brisa que saque a esas aspas de su punto muerto. En conclusión monta unas aspas que generen bastante torque
Esa configuración original a baja velocidad genera cerca de 50 voltios 4 amperes.. ya hice la prueba y preferí no cambiar nada por los momentos, la otra parte complicada es que el bobinado es de aluminio y delicado de empalmar. Cambiaría la configuración si deseo más amperios.. pero sacrificaría considerablemente la velocidad porque debería aumentar significativamente.
