Halo | MOC's | MEGA | Lego | and a little bit of Military technology.
With this channel, my aim is to try to develop Halo brick builds to be as good as possible. I predominantly cover MEGA and Halo, but am willing to venture out. Who knows, might do some other stuff as well.
I’ve been interested in the F-99 WOMBAT RECONNAISSANCE DRONE ever since first playing HALO 3 ODST when I was younger. When I first played SPACE ENGINEERS on XBOX years ago, I wanted to make HALO vehicles as I felt dissatisfied with the communities builds of certain UNSC ships and so I built my own Fully functional SAHARA CLASS PROWLER and having seen your video I now understand which block shapes I shall need in order to make your F-99 WOMBAT in SE
Have you played RejectedShotgun's mod for Halo 3 "Huge Grass"? It adds the Wombat and a bunch of other Vanilla+ vehicles from Campaign only vehicles (like the AA Wraith) Reach, Cutscenes, H2, H4, and H5 all on an enormous custom map.
That game actually does look pretty fun to fuck around with you mates in!! And great job with this vehicle, completely unexpected but totally loved and godddd those angles and shapes and highlights are hotttttt and I was NOT expecting landing gear but I’m sooo happy to see them!! I wonder if you could have used a free cam and gone out the map and paused the game to have a closer in-depth look at them/other vehicles of this less common cinematic nature Also when you eventually get to covie vehicles some of the ones I’d love to see initially would be the banshee, ghost or spectre aswell And if you’d like I’d be totally happy with the talky buts been in vr too it could kinda “give you a face/charecter” in a way :) (I love the talky explainy bits btw)
Amazing as always ! Great job mate ! Didint know about that ship it's a great discover for me. The moments in the Airjet simulator were great and fun nice idea !
these things look so amazing. I honestly wish Mega would make sets like this fr. I'm under the impression we wont be getting instructions for some of these mocs xp
Fun fact: We've been able to find three models of the Wombat, two from ODST and one from a Reach Build. so as it turns out the aircraft carrier exists in ODSTEK aswell and its actually a bit more higher quality, it also has actual models for the crafts rather than 2d cutouts. In Reach the Drone Fighters were supposed to be actual vehicles that would assist the player as wingmen during the Sabre sections. They still work fully, just lacking the wingmen code.
I was gonna ask, "Do you build the vehicles in any other form? Like in sandbox games such as Space engineers/ trailmakers, or is all you focus put into the physical Mocs
Have you thought of building any of the Frigates? Obviously, not to scale unless you're crazy but a Stalwart, Charon, or Paris at maybe quarter or half scale would be cool
Yep, definitely at some point down the line. I do like the Charon frigate especially but I've just still got so much figure scaled stuff thats higher on the priority for now
@HaloReforger The Charon class is a beauty, I'm partial to the Paris class myself. I just wish we could have experienced a bit more gameplay with these amazing vessels. I mean, the interiors would have been an awesome sight, but I guess it just means you can make the interiors how you'd like.
Boss your builds are fantastic! Also the diorama is simplistic and beautiful! I was going to ask how did you accomplish that? Where did you get so many pieces to create that and how are you able to get a good image size for the background. Sorry for the lengthy comment but I think it looks amazing!
Most are probably from used sets he bought, or he's rich and has been collecting for years. The sheer amount of every part he has would require parting out a fk ton of sets.
One thing I appreciate about this moc you've made is the swap of the side machine guns to the M247 Heavy machine guns. MEGA's versions for this set are still quite cool, but they are quite big, and the barrels are not the right design. It's really no big deal, but it's cool that you noticed! :D
