What head unit do you have? my kenwood ddx672bh doesnt communicate with the amplifier properly so the subwoofer is given the same exact power as the other speakers, and changing the sub level doesnt change anything. Did you also get an aftermarket amp?
While you are degreasing the ball, might be a good idea to degrease around the socket / set-screw / grease port so you don’t drag dirt in with the grease hose!
Hi, nice work on the grille replacement! It looks great. I have one question if I may. you mentioned that you dont want to unplug the camera, which you eventually did anyways. Did the camera work afterwards or was there any calibration necessary?
Also just to clarify when you first identified the green wire going to your blinker did you splice it for the headlight to have it’s blinking option upgrade while allowing the original blinker to work? I didn’t see that part but assumed and wanted to clarify.
I did the same conversation exactly, but I am having issues with the high beam. It is malfunctioning when I am switching from law beam to high beam. Do you have the same issue?
@@faucheauxmoto125 yes bud. Thanks for reaching out. I did exactly the same installation (same car same parts). When I go to high beam when I fist start the car I works well. However, after few good months, when I again switch to high beam, it blinks once and then does not stay on high beam. Low beam however works great. Any ideas why does it happen/how it can be solved? Did you had the same issue? Much appreciated!
Quite the horror. First of all, I would thoroughly wash the entire car. After removing the rear emblem, I would polish the paint and only then stick the black emblem on. The adhesive remover disc makes scratches in the paint.
I have a 2005 I just picked up. I’m looking to add wheels that come out flush with the fenders but I’m looking to find the right width and offset I need for it to happen
I have a Weber Summit natural gas grill. Love it. Bought it in 2006 and 3 of 6 tubes have needed to be replaced for awhile now. For years I always just used most of the time the one side. When those burner tubes started to fail I just went to the other side of grill, but will be replacing all now thanks to you showing me how. I'm sure mine isn't that different from yours. Will be giving Weber a call. Hope to get the savings you talked about too. Say just a suggestion video would be much easier to hear you without music. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. D
Thanks for wactching. Hahha you have a keen eye Faucheaux! The hardest sort was filming this. If I didn’t have to record it it would’ve taken about 30 minutes MAX. 👍🏻🙌🏻
Never mind moving the camera, re-takes and everything else associated with creating a how-to video. It looks like several hours TO YOU because you must not be mechanically inclined. If you stopped analyzing shadows and instead mentally calculated how long it takes to release the door pins, unscrew two screws, remove grates and flavor bars, slide the tubes out then then the new ones back in, you'd come up with about a half-hour. But you're too busy trying to be clever by analyzing shadows.
Thanks for the video. I always wanted to install cool lights on my 06 G500 . The only issue was the bezel , I had hard time installing it according to your instructions, then I did my own way and it worked. I'm happy with the results. Thank you again. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t6cT4U8ly28.html
Hey Samer! Sorry you ran into some snags, BUT we’re glad you’re happy with the outcome! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 So glad the video helped. Please post a brag photo of your G! We’d love to see it FAUCHEAUX!
Good work. How old was the grill when looking so weared like that? Good grill anyway. Just got mine and I hope for many many years with a lot of BBQ fun.
It sure is! Color is Gloss Intense Blue and the team at AdPro in Peabody , Mass did it. Cost will depend on full vs partial wrap and intricacy of the wrap. I opted to leave black “anything that sticks out” as a rule of thumb. (IE hinges , mirrors , wiper nozzles etc. Ask for Brian and he can quote something out for you or at least give you an idea of cost for your application. maps.apple.com/?address=15%20Spring%20St,%20Peabody,%20MA%20%2001960,%20United%20States&auid=10542202684619827686&ll=42.523850,-70.927623&lsp=9902&q=Adpro%20Design
@@faucheauxmoto125 Thanks for the reply, I have a 2002 G500 Im looking to get wrapped in the same way (all that sticks out stays black). Debating between blue or olive green. Keep the vids going, always nice to see other guys working on theirs.
Awesome! That olive color is niiiice! I’d guess between $5-7000 for it to be done correctly. They have to remove EVERYTHING they can and wrap it individually. Like headlight bezels then all alighting and marker lenses and taillights come off, door handles /trim , vents etc. the guys at AdPro have her the Royal treatment. Some Places can probably do it for less BUT most of them will just wrap AROUND everything wich can lead to peeling. They wrap into every possible crevice and just about everyone that looks at it thinks it’s a paint job lol. Thanks for the kind words.
@@faucheauxmoto125 yeah I have been quoted 8K ($Cad) a few months ago for olive drab (military green) but on of my preffered color is the world rally blue that subarus used to have and yours are in the same hues. It soooo nice. Congrats and yeah I know they need to fiddle a lot with it by removing a lot of stuff hence the hefty pricetag. I will follow your YT work for sure. Cheers !
