Lear Jets are like the little plane that could. I would think they would be fun as hell to fly, or even be a passenger. When I get money, I'll be chartering one😁
I remember playing the demo of this and shooting two guns that ran at me and they got stuck to each other in a "make out" pose on the ground. I swear i was laughing for about 2 hours.
TheTyphoon is a dogfighter and cannot be compared to any other plane currently in service. It would beat every single plane flying in a dogfight hands down. The eurofighter never was intended to be a ground attack aircraft but to counter new russian planes back in the 80s, thats why focus was layed on manouverability. Lets not forget the the pilot factor, the best plane is useless without a skilled and well trained pilot so all those comparissons are pretty useless. Every plane is just as good as its pilot ......
Guys, do not argue about which one is better between F-22 and Eurofighter. It all depends by the pilots. MiG-15 was (slightly) a better machine than F-86 Sabre in Korea, but American pilots were better trained than the Korean pilots and eventually kicked their asses (not considering Chinese and Soviet pilots, which were good almost as Americans were). In an eventual fight between the two machines (even if it's not gonna happen, i hope), no one could predict who would win: they could be both winners, because F-22 might be stealth and well armed, but a good trained pilot on the Typhoon could get the Raptor in his machine-gun sights from the back (Typhoon is extremely maneuverable even at high speeds), and no stealth plane can figure out a way out of a machine-gun strafe from a short distance.
lukeFDX Lol u want to tell me that the EF can't use Rockets against F-22? Maybe not at Long Range but in a closer fight F22 would be seen and attacked with Rockets.
Well, machine-gun could be an example of any kind of short-distance unguided weapon, which it could be rockets, of course (even if not every version of EF can carry on rockets: Italian Air Force EFs can't, because they're only for air-surveillance purposes and are armed with guided missiles). The pilot would have to be VERY skillful with rockets, though, because, at short distance, multiple explosions and fragments could damage the plane seriously.
Good capture. This would be a perfect capture if the videographer stayed focused on the object, not allowing it to go off-center, by staying ahead, as one would do in hunting ducks. Also, I have no idea why folk import music in aviation videos. The engines ARE the music, and the silence when one cannot hear the engines is part of the accompaniment. Still this is liked, favorited and saved for later viewing since it captures a BUFFs low pass and landing. Thank you for sharing. don
Funny that typhoon beat the f22 at a dogfight in the red flags and the red flags and the Americans refused to go again hahaha. And the rafale sure it might have a better air to ground role but the typhoon would mop it all over the air.
Jake Hayes Well you're right. Rafale is built for a prevalent Air-to-Ground attack role. Typhoon is a total different machine in this sense. It may be not as good as the french cousin in raiding and bombing, but in the air it has not many rivals.
That was a nice landing... With some cloud and a bit of wind... But 109mph/170km/h, that was a joke hahaha! If it were really tempest with 170kmh wind, flight would have been diverted long time ago
