Imo the greatest F1 driver we have ever had the pleasure to see ❤ to think how I watched this very episode with such happiness. And now to watch it and can't help but cry 😢 I thank Michael for all the amazing memories he gave us all
I remember this. Watched it live. F1 Historic moment. The Ferrari pit man/tire changer gentlemen that the little boy is riding on the shoulders at the end, gets his leg broken at the next race? during a pit stop. They gave Kimi the green light to go after pitting, when it was not clear. Unfortunately, he received broken leg and was out for the season.
There will never be anothet Kimi. His little son Robin will certainly be an F1 driver someday but I'm sure he wouldn't be as maverick as his dad. Characters like Kimi are rare- one piece made, maker dead, factory out of service, formula lost. 😂😂😂😂😂
God that car is so beautiful. This era of f1 has some of the best looking f1 cars ever, the new ones are cool but just so big and complicated looking. Obviously it’s faster but as far as looks good this era is just beautiful
When someone wins their first championship, they have a chance to use the number ‘1’ but it can also be retained if they win again, so until max loses a championship, he gets to stay with the number 1
watched him race at Sepang in 1999.. after he broke his leg at the British GP early in the season.. he led most of the race and yielded to Irvine at the finish line!.. then they got DQ whilst otw to Japan but reinstated afterwards.. he really is the Legend! along with Hakinen..
