I have worn BTE hearing aids since 1985 ad have replaced the tube hundreds of times, and have never had to cut a tapper on the one end of the tube. The have always come with a sharp tapper on that end. And certainly don't need pliers to pull the old tube from the mold it can be easily pulled out with fingers.
Thank you so much - I thought I might be able to find a random video but this was made by the unit that supplied my hearing aid and is exactly the same model. Now confident to change the tube!
I had a pair of Phonak Nathos hearing aids provided free by the NHS nearly three years ago. They are effectively ear plugs. I put them in if I want silence because they just block out most ambient sound. I have to remove them if someone wants to speak to me. The audiologist says they are working perfectly well but I find them completely useless and they make my hearing far worse than without them. Were it not for the fact that others are telling me how good they have found them, I would say these are some kind of scam.

I've seen delirium a few times, in family members. It can be quite scary, and sometimes you worry that it's something more serious. Can happen outside of hospital too, when a patient has been prescribed new meds or an antibiotic, and they react strangely to it. Staying calm is vital. It can feel like talking someone off of a cliff, at times.
Cherry laurel, which release cyanide into the air can cause the same effect, especially when its mixed with pollution from cars, unfortunately the NHS does not recognise a cyanide producing plants such as cherry luarel to be dangerous, even though people are allergic to it and the cyanide fumes it produce
Good video I'm getting on it a new weeks and I'm terrified I have really bad anxiety and ptsd so it was good to see a female having it done so I know what to do a bit more all the other videos were of men and they don't have to worry about bras I can't take mine off so it was good to see that you can keep it on as long as its loose
Thank you very much for that video, have been struggling all Morning to re tube my hearing aids and that's not the first time I have tried. your Video plainly shown how was done. thank you again.
This is a great help. I’ve applied for a TNA course recently, and hoping to be successful, or if not learn what I need to be successful in the future. This video has been great in helping me understand from a first hand point of view 😊
Sounds like a meat processing factory 😮 From a very anxious patient’s point of view this sounds horrendous. Being left in a waiting room without support from family surrounded by unfamiliar faces for hours is just going to rapidly increase anxiety. I doubt I’ll be able to stay without walking out cancelling
Just simply let the pre-assessment nurse know you suffer from extreme anxiety and what you find helps you and they will do all they can to accommodate your needs. They want happy patients so usually will do all they can to make you feel comfortable physically, mentally and emotionally. Good luck with your operation.
Hello, i have eczema and am considering trying this. Do you mind telling me about your experience and what her you felt it worked? Also whether you know whether you can get it on the Nhs?
@@IbrahimIbrahim-ed3uv first of u need to obviously get an appointment from the gp and go through all the trials and tribulations in regards to prove that all the medication and creams used dosent ease ur flare ups of prickling itch before the doctor books u a Demortolagist. But yes It starts very small and u would last 30 secs in that light machine. The dosage increases each time u go there . I go 2 times a week for the month. I am pretty sure I finish next month before I am discharged. Because of the risk of skin cancer you can only have so many light therapy in ur lifetime because there isn’t a cure but this helped manage my itch greatly.

I had a cardiac bundle of minimally invasive mitral and tricuspid valve repair with Cox Maze Set lesions performed using Atricure Cryoprobe, followed by a TOE to check that all was well, just over 3 weeks ago. The number of tubes and cables coming out of me in ICU was mind boggling - worst of all were compression pads around my legs which clamped tightly at regular intervals 24/7 with auto blood pressure kit around my upper left arm set for hourly action!! Oh yes, I walked to the operating theatre!!
