Native NY'er. This is my favorite hotel in the city. What most don't know is that before c*vid changed the city, the Warwick was an $800+ per night hotel. The service Is IMPECCABLE! And I've stayed at the all the biggies and The Warwick is my go-to.
Did the Sky deck with my family today I enjoyed it but the actual ledge part made me a little anxious I don’t think I would enjoy the tilt one. I’m not even afraid of heights
Idk…. NYC just isn’t the same anymore! I just moved to Chicago for work a year ago from NYC…. I have to say, I am beyond impressed with this City! I had no idea how big this city was until I got here! It’s a power washed version of New York City ! That’s no exaggeration, It’s 100 times cleaner…. It’s cheaper, and far less traffic to deal with! Very easy to get around!! And they have a beach… who would have thought that? That was a huge surprise!
Hancock building by far for an observatory. Deep dish is a casserole dish. Tavern style is the way to go, cut into squares. And ya gotta have an Italian Beef.
This is a real Chicago video. All these choices match up with my experience of being a Chicagoan. The only thing I would add would be Gyros, which I think is one of the most iconic Chicago foods.
I lived in Bushwick in summer of 2022, I agree with the diversity in food options and all that. But it was so hard for me to find Filipino food or any store that sells Filipino stuffs. I had to go to Queens every once in a while to stock up on necessities. G and 7 trains were my companions haha =)
I miss the transit in NYC and thought when I moved to Chicago 2 years ago that it would be the same here. MAN, was I mistaken. The transit in Chicago leaves a lot to be desired, unfortunately. I feel less safe on trains here than I did in NYC which is crazy.
Good morning from Illinois Luis 🎉 I love watching your videos. I really enjoy hearing what you’re up to in the differences between the two cities. I’m so glad to hear it. It’s doing well for you. You have inspired me to get out there and travel as you know over these last several years, I was so glad to see this kind of style video with an update. Have a great day out in New York. I hope to run into you one day.
hi luis. thanks so much for sharing your journey. it has been really helpful when i was still researching chicago and eventually moving there :D (i'm posted up in lincoln park now) definitely agree with the variety bit. target/trader joe's are my go-to but try to make the rounds for costco once a month. but still tuning in for the vids for y'all.
Thank You, Great Vid! Coming From a Wicked Sick Poverty MCS Sufferer That Cant afford to Drive To His Mothers Place 150 Miles away.... FREE YT Traveling is Great, & Especially High In The Sky Vid Instead of trying to Tolerate In Reality Being almost a Quarter Mile Above gromund On See Thru Glass! Yikes.
I just love the old classical style architecture. I hope these buildings will be well maintained in the future. These buildings are heirlooms of Chicago's historical past.
