“All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.” -J.R.R. Tolkien

@@yasminqureshi_ Matthew McConaughey The Lost Bus 🚌. They didnt want us to spoil it and make a scene while he was here. That’s why I didn’t say the title in the video!
@@ashestoashes4336 Thanks, that means a lot.! oh I don’t know I have not set anything up yet. You can email me and we could work something out. I think if you sent it to a mail drop place I could pick it up and I could pay the mail drop fee I think they are usually not too expensive. My email is listed in my bio! 😎
In all honesty I like your approach to making videos. You’re very authentic and honest and that’s what’s going to make your channel do well in the long run 😊
I honestly thought it was a rare hummingbird! Lol 😝 I had to research what this was after I videotaped it. Thanks for watching, it was a really fun encounter.
It does take quite a while to acclimate to elevation. Even for those with no lung damage. Zantac and water. Mr heads up those oxygen cans that people use or say they use that is not prescription oxygen and is a minimal help and is only short-lived. Is go slow and enjoy!
Hey Yasmin! Yeah, I like black and white photography especially. Now I am trying to dabble into the long exposure niche a bit. Do you like to do photography on your outings?
@@ARealLiveNomad That’s awesome. It would be really cool to see your photography. I have a degree in photography, but I haven’t picked up my DSLR in years. I’ve thought about doing travel photography now but I haven’t yet. I just take snapshots on my phone and share them to my Instagram :)
Oh and I wanted to tell you... Get a fire blanket to smother the fire inside. Sometimes just messing with the fire extinguisher takes too much time and the fire can get away from you. Just saying.....
Hey Kenny, catching up with your videos and giving you some support. You’re doing awesome out there! It loved seeing that drive down the mountain, awesome views. I’m glad your eye sight is okay too! Are you allowed to stay in one place for 2 weeks before you have to move on? What are the rules out there? 😊
Most National Forests are 14 days free dispersed camping/ dry camping. Some with amenities offer electricity and water for a fee, which you pay on recreation.gov. The rules and priced for each place are on the Forest Service website, it’s different for each forest and campground so check there!
Good review, just to let you know, I use a free food stamp phone and because I live in a shed behind a gas station, I don't have a mailing address for them to send my recertification letter to. Consequently this phone I use is subject to being shut off without notice. So if I fall off the radar I didn't unsubscribe it just means that I'm without a phone. Until then, you keep posting and I'll keep watching 🙏
Thanks for watching. Keep putting one foot in front of the other dude. Without my truck, I’m right there with you. Everything will work out for its purpose and you aren’t given anything more than your will can’t handle. Hold fast out there brother
Fake snakes. Always kept them away from my parents camper and vehicles. And mesh bags of mothballs up underneath the hood. There was a millionaire that lived up in Snowmass and he would put mothballs all underneath the car on the concrete to repel mice.
I know in Aspen just a high school kid lived here all his life tied off his hammock between two trees one did not support him one fell on him and killed him be aware be very aware.
That's called an avalanche took it out... The best thing to do when you hang your hammock is look for weak trees the worst thing that can happen is have you tie yourself off the trees that will not hold you.
Loved seeing the views, thanks for the vid. I was an RV full timer in 1999-2000, ended up on the Gulf Coast of Texas for awhile. Drove through New Mexico at the time but didn't stop because I had to be somewhere. Your video, especially up the mountain, makes me want to go back to visit. I'm a full timer again now, but stationary on the Canadian west coast for awhile. Getting antsy though... lol. Time for changes again soon. The road is calling.
Exactly why I live in the Rocky Mountains. Summertime in Colorado is pure Majesty. There's a lot of really great little towns in Colorado. Where the cost of living isn't crazy. But as you've noticed, it's expensive everywhere it's just the way it is. You also might like Utah. Especially the Castle Valley area. It's just like two and a half hours from Colorado. But if you like the mountains I would say something like around Durango? I'm sure you'll figure it out. I have glaucoma too. Keep up the drops! 😁 I've never had headaches..
Hi, Malinda. Thanks for writing! I may check out Durango… I will definitely look into that area. Good luck with your glaucoma. Has it leveled out for you with treatment? Stay in touch and stay tuned.- Kenny
@@ARealLiveNomad Hi there thanks for your reply! Oh yes my glaucoma... I was diagnosed in 2013. And I have added one drop since then and that's been it. I have my annual checkup in July. I have one friend who has glaucoma but it's completely different than my glaucoma and she experiences a lot of painful flare-ups and I don't know what that's about. I believe there's different kinds of glaucoma. My mother and her mother both had glaucoma and might be hereditary? All I know is you don't go to the doctor and you don't use your drops you do go blind. I've been wearing glasses since I was two (myopia) and now cataracts are coming on. 😥 I am no longer able to drive, sold my truck 2 years ago. Life's a b**** and then one moves in next door. Lol Anyways I'm just rambling. Just get a good eye doctor and keep up your drops.
@@malindaallinson5749 it’s manageable once they find out you have it. I was blessed to have caught it at 38. Keep on putting one foot in front of the other.
The desert is interesting to check out but for me it gets old in a hurry. The dust and wind are endless. Im sort of the same way about the ocean and beach front locations. The sand ,wind and noise of crashing waves never stop. The mountains have more appeal than desolate sand and scrub bushes. Trees and streams and wildlife with quiet are more soothing to my nerves. Adjust elevations and latitude for temperature control.
Thanks for reaching out! The desert is cool but I like some grass and trees and shade. Definitely worth seeing but I can’t pull back the reigns just yet 😉. Thanks for the comment
