Haha my coaches made me do all of these before 😅 my single loops are excellent but double loops are my enemy, I'd rather do double axel (which I've almost never tried) rather than double loops :(
I have still a question about , " Choctaw S , Step, I still get your moves * you give dome Tips about " Right inside edge and Then about back cross over *? Thank you * Brother Richard **
I wish I will meet you in personal Where are you " Coaching what State * are in " Colorado ** Richard * your " Techniques There are precisely explained ** Thank you 😊
omg thank you so much, before, the idea of doing an axel off ice was terrifying 4me, now, after following your tutorial, I can do it perfectly and without any fear!!!💗
Thank you so much, this is just what I needed. If possible could you do a tutorial on forward and backward power circle, CW & ACW? That would be amazing 💕
I'm taking my 3rd ice skating class ever tonight at 6, at the age of 39 :D I've been roller skating my whole life [though not competitively except for one year of roller derby], and I've always wanted to figure skate, but we didn't have a nearby ice rink until I was in high school. I'm realistic and have no Olympic aspirations [although if I turn out to be some type of middle-aged prodigy, of course I wouldn't say no! lol] but my only goal at this point is to just be more graceful on ice, or as graceful on ice that I am on wheels! My *dream* is to be able to someday land a double *anything*. If that happens, I'll feel like I can die knowing I've achieved my dream I had since I was 6. If not, that's ok too because I'm having so much fun! Skating is the closest feeling to flying. <3
Thank you!! Timestamps for adult 6: 9:40 forward stroking with crossover end patterns 10:40 backward stroking with crossover end patterns 11:20 forward inside 3-turns 12:16 forward outside to inside change of edge on a line 13:20 t-stop 14:20 lunges 15:05 two-foot spin into one-foot spin
Beautiful ❤ See this in September. I've tried to do the tree turn calmly but the problem is not to get the toe pick when I reach the jumping part. This is very, very helpful 🙂
Thank you. I’ve seen different entries and leg positions but have always struggled to break it down and identify what I’m seeing so that I can incorporate it into my own skating 😂 ❤❤
Just wrong! Salchov is actually only half rotation in the air. Like a walz jump. You started your take off a quarter ealier. It will create problem even with 2S. You will jump "around a corner", it will be never a stable jump.
Excellent, abviously flexibility is super helpful. Most men don't have that [except Hanyu]. Arms are important, and unless you've taken dance, unexplained by skate coaches. You mention them, but can you make something specific to arms and line? Love these!
Very helpful. Thank you for sharing. I just started focusing in the spring in my landing positions. This is a great exercise to do at the gym this summer as I wait to return to the ice in September
Glad it was helpful! These are definitely fabulous to do while off the ice 👍 you can build so much off the ice and notice a difference when you get back on the ice ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much! I want to built up a off-ice routine, especially now that I don't have ice in the summer, and I will definitely add those exercises.
