Something I still wonder about the Egg Man is that, even after you take the egg, the text when 'interacting' with him says there's nobody there anymore... despite the fact that there's still clearly something there that you can't walk past. Just something to add to the list of how many small details there are in Chapter 1 that we still can't quite explain. What were Kris and Ralsei talking about in the jail cell, perhaps? Why did Ralsei know all of the things he taught us in the tutorial? (They're in-story, Susie questions who "[Z]" is when Ralsei gives us that one hit with the block puzzle!), and who shut the door on us when we first walked into the closet? Furthermore, why was there already a town in there, with multiple buildings that seemed lived-in, yet were empty? How come Ralsei apparently already lived there when the town was abandoned? If the dark fountain in there is supposedly so important, how wasn't it discovered before? Who built the kingdom in there?! There were so many subtle allusions to things that take place in Chapter 2, too. Something about a Queen, many talks about the bitter cold... And we still don't know why Catti or Jockington are so important either; Noelle and Berdly ended up becoming important characters, and they had character portraits. The former two _also_ had portraits in Ch. 1... what's the deal there? Hopefully Chapters 3 and 4 will settle at least some of these things. Not all of them I'd doubt, we'd only be a little over half-way through everything, but there are many mysteries we can't explain yet.
You know, this makes me think of the cryptic comments from the River Person in Undertale, namely: 1. "Beware the man who speaks in hands." 2. "Beware the man who came from the other world."
I think this is Gaster's theme with the notes rearranged. Gaster theme goes: 1 b2 b6 b2 or first note then second note is a very small distance away then third note is a large distance away then 4th note is second note This the first notes of theme go: b2 1 b2 b6 where the second note of Gaster's theme is now first and third instead of second and fourth, the first note now is second, and the 3rd is 4th. That's just what I think
I know this is old, but I just got a laptop with a budget processor and i wanted to see if emulators work. I'm happy it does because i'm loving looking at my childhood collection lol. Especially on the Ps2.
@@deher9110I tried a PS2 emu on a moderate end laptop for school. The CPU was roughly $300. So the specs were in par with this, just can't remember exactly what. The game never got past the PS2 welcome screen... I used it on a Acer Nitro? Much better. So I would say 8gb ram, 1650 GPU and a Ryzen 5 or equivalent would be perfect. I never had issues when I got that thing.
How would Spatmon be in the wrong dark world? Why would he stay in his own if could leave when all he wants is freedom? Why would he introduce himself to Kris in chapter 2 if they already met in chapter 1? Why wouldn't Kris know who he is later in chapter 2 if he's already met him? Why would Spamton be silent in the tree rooms? Is there anything stopping people from talking to the man behind the tree after beating Spamton Neo? @@mango9808 What's your basis for that? Spamton & Jevil are said to have been normal until someone mysterious talked to them.
Fun fact! If you play on computer and use debug mode, you can save in this room, but, once you do this the file will be corrupted and if you try to open up the file, Annoying dog will appear and play the “dogcheck” song. This is because dog check only plays when you edit the files without hex editor, or when the safe that you tried to load is corrupted! :-)
i haven't seen it in the comments yet but the song played there is originally a fake yume nikki track Toby made on his Tumblr a while back, it's called Waltz of Seccom Masada :)
Notice the sign says: the darker it gets, the more you can see. That could possibly refer to switching between rooms rapidly, the faster you get, the darker it gets. When you finally are in complete darkness, you can finally see this room
That's relating to the tree puzzle switch thing where you gotta revolve around the center until it gets dark enough for you to see it, finding the room with the man behind the tree is just random chance
@@alexanderwoodgate4015 Thing is, it getting darker has nothing to do with finding the man behind the tree. Like I said, it's just random chance lol Personally, I don't think it was meant to have that double meaning at all
I have a theory Riverman/woman/does it really matter? Said that there was a *man* who speaks in hands *gaster* and a man that could travel universes (or something like that). So either this is gaster, or its the other person that the river person was talking about
@@GasterExplains And his first name is one letter off from Easter. And his origin story is like a retelling of Humpty Dumpty. Then again, EGG in wingdings is ☜︎☝︎☝︎, which I've heard is how knights move in chess, which could mean at least 6 things. 1. The egg giver is the knight. 2. Kris is the knight. This makes no sense though. 3. Kris is supposed to give the egg to the knight. 4. Anyone Kris gives an egg could become the new knight. 5. The eggs will find/create/restore the/a knight if put in a hospitable place. 6. The eggs are pieces of the knight. If so, the pipises are probably pieces of someone too. Maybe Mike or maybe Spamton's old body. Or... maybe Gaster? I don't know.
@@beenings213 river"man"? (Tbh he was one of the characters we couldn't fight and he was pretty mysterious and he even knew about gaster) And the man who speaks in hand is probably gaster or himself/herself?
wacky, silly conspiracy time: EGG in wingdings is 👈👆👆. what does that look like? the movement pattern of a chess knight... gaster = the knight? probably not, but it's still a funny coincidence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I accidentally found this on my game and saw curious things Your group doesn't follows you The man gives you an egg and disappairs The man is invisible The man could be gaster The eggs is useless When you leave you appear on another place.
I think I can explain that Easter egg in one room there is a creature that looks like a star in other room it gets darker and star Is light and darkness is dark.
