At The Lure Box, we are focused on helping anglers catch more fish on a regular basis! Yes, we are here to sell you lures; BUT, we aim to assist our fellow fishermen to maximise their catch efficiency using the new and exciting techniques, rigs, lures, hooks, weights and all other accessories we are going to introduce into the UK predator fishing scene. With the help of some of the top British fishermen, by way of a series of informative tutorial videos, our objective is to improve the fishing skills of our clients and all those who visit the website, Facebook page, through our innovative approach to predator fishing.
You are aware that tiny little eye right in front of your finger -just in front of the handle- is meant for the hook to avoid damaging the bigger eye where your hook is now.😉 Nice video!
I am aware of that, as is my man who did the video but sometimes we put the lure in the eye. 🙂I often put the lure in the 1st eye, but on the metal part, not in the eye itself for that very reason.
how fast is it actually sinking? I wonder if I should get the sinking one for slow retrieve in shallow waters, or the floating version and add some weights to it.
Love them.got set of 4 the are parch magnets pike take them aswell as chub dont have chub in Ireland or zander tje work the water well and stay in zone..
I just tried mine for the first time, it just kept spinning around not working as it should at all..., And the spoon got stuck to the hook multiple times
@@bbarrybarnes Yeah that seems to be the problem. I figured I needed at least 40lbs for muskie fishing. But when you have to pull everything extremely hard to cinch, it seems like a kink is almost unavoidable at that point.
I have a question about the Westin lure Platypus. I just got my Platypues 22 cm version, but as it turns out it does not have a metal ball inside the body of the lure that would make clacking sound. Can you tell me how to tell which Platypus lures contain the ball and therefor has also this rattle?
Glad you like them. Solid swims are not something I use a lot, but maybe i should as they are very popular. I prefer a jointed option, as it has more movement... but sometimes maybe less movement is better.
Add the swivel to the front hook. Backhook has one anyway. And a thinwired anything on a fastach connection will want to come out, especially on the cast.
Hi man. I love sunline. Tell me and suggest me who better, SIGLON ADV or small game pe-hg. I am fishing at landbase saltwater. my tackle set bfs light.
Yes, the Sunline is great. I have started using the Asegai most. I love the colour. It is thicker than most Sunline as it is rated by LB Test, not max break as the Small Game and Siglon. The Small Game is the best they do, but this is obviously reflected in the price. We are very short of all Sunline stock, as it has been a tough year with supply chains. However hopefully we can get more early 2023. Merry Christmas.
I have an older Plano blue magnum satchel (i hear the new ones are not built as well) as my walleye box and was locking for another for saltwater. I don't like packing bulky gear or things i don't need. I think i will go with the 4000 without the bottom cases. Do small hooks stay in place in the top compartments when the lid is closed and it is turned up on its side ?
Oh my God, please... you should NOT be using a Fastach clip to connect a lure to a leader! Even adding a swivel is not going to prevent a pike levering itself off and the result will be a lure left in the fish. Use a proper snap link, such as a staylok snap. People seeing this need to know what you're doing is very wrong. I hope you read this and re-think what you're doing before you learn the hard way and kill a pike. Thank you.
I've been using Fastach snaps exclusively for about 3 years for ALL my fishing, with NO swivel. Pike, perch, zander, bass, trout... not lost a SINGLE fish that took the lure off the snap. They are extensively used around Europe too. Not sure what kind of fastach snaps you've experienced and we're all entitled to our opinion, but yours on this occasion is wrong.
Have you ever used a Fastach clip? It does not sound like you have (unless you've been using cheap Chinese ones). I (and thousands of others) have been using them for years without one single problem, not one!
