Look how many musicians there are here and to think that only four guys made all the arrangements to this monsterous song? They had others on the orchastral instruments too but the four of them had the actual ideas. And that's just one song! Now listen to the son Magical Mystery Tour and Penny Lane! And everything was done manually in those days! Christ ! What a hell of a lot of work!
Hi Margaret, YES, I admit it! I wrote the score. in fact, I created the first draft back in 11th grade. I conducted the WMHS orchestra at the Spring Pops Concert, and your brother Tim was one of the singers.
You know you hear these songs on the radio and back in the old days 45 records anyway it’s neat be able to see how they actually make this song how they actually play it and it’s really neat being able to see that I also the Danish national Orchestra when they do some of the Clint Eastwoodbumper music I guess that’s what you call it anyway I really enjoy this
That girl in the black dress she is really special. I like her I like the other two girls too, and the rest of the band anyway she is really getting into it. Not a bad looker either.
What would the score look like if it combined piano and trumpet? If piano key is C (A minor) what would the key signature be for the trumpet part? B minor? And then would I make the trumpet notes a whole step higher?
This song is a masterpiece. Heartbreaking and hopeful in equal measures. The vocalists are superb, and the way that the harp and the strings tell the story is magnificent xxx
As we can hear and see how difficult it is to have the timing in this immence musical structure, George's master piece. A brilliant song filled with wisdom and inner peace.. my favorite.. thank you 🪲George we love you 4ever ❤
